I decided to try out a new format for the weekly photo diaries, by taking a page out of Fran's book and adding lil text onto each photo using Insta stories and then saving that to my phone. With how much I like to ramble, this is a much easier way for me to be a bit more specific about said ramblings and means I don't have to scroll back and forth between my text here and the order of the photos up above, to try and make sure they collate~~
Let me know what you think of this format! Slash if you want to see even more daily snippets, cause this format does make it easier for me to comment on stuff. Idk how much y'all wanna know! I sometimes feel like my life is...so boring and same-y, I get self-conscious heh. I pretty much work on stuff until about 6 and then I head home and play video games all night.
I did just start playing Fields of Mistria which is !! SOOO CUTE it's Stardew Valley, but make it more fantasy-RPG and 90's anime, it's brilliant, playing it just makes me wanna draw everything on screen. I enjoy how the story quests make the game feel a little more focused and less sprawling than Stardew, honestly, it's a really great balance for me. I also started playing Disco Elysium for the first time which is SO tonally different from every game I've ever played but it's extremely compelling and so SO brilliantly written, I'm excited to explore more of it. I have to take breaks from my Baldur's Gate 3 brainrot sometimes, it keeps things fresh >:)
I know I said I'd post these diaries on Thursday, but I feel like Wednesday just makes a bit more sense, and balances the post schedule a lil bit better <3 See y'all Friday for our first August podcast~

And honestly I'm always so happy to see a notification from you so dont worry, your life doesnt feel boring,, it's good to watch other people's life that feels relatable and comforting honestly. Im so glad you've gotten back into sourdough again! Watching the joy you get from baking is so awesome, and my mantra lately has been 'it doesn't matter how many times you put something down. What counts is picking it back up. Keep picking it back up !!' Are you planning to bake more in the future? If so, whatre some things that inspire you? The ceramics are soooo cute, and leaning into the imperfections to make a vampire mug is AMAZING, its probably one of my favs actually haha! I'm glad you have friends that will show up and help you with a big task like the rewards. I started running a weekly craft group and its really put into focus that community needs to be prioritized, even for an introvert like me, and that I always come away feeling lighter and more inspired than I did going into the meet. I hope you get to experience this as well! This more structured update is extremely nice, I've been combing through your patreon from oldest to newest, and was wondering if in your podcasts you might sprinkle in some questions every now and then? Getting both at once is so, so nice. Also, LOVE seeing all your pottery!! The illustrations on them are so beautiful!
