Hey Kriss, Thanks so much for the feedback! I appreciate you taking the time to write all that. Regarding the automatic tool selection, I've been thinking a lot about something like that since Gamescom, as the main bit of feedback I received was inventory management related. So this is something that I plan on looking into soon. The seed idea is interesting - not something I'd really thought about before. I guess it could work, but I don't know if it would be totally necessary. I'll think about it! The other suggestions are all very good points - I'll add them all to the to-do list! Thanks again for the feedback :)

While playing I had a few ideas that could make the game better IMHO (not sure if this is the right place to post this): - Automatically equip a matching tool when no tool is selected, e.g. when clicking on the well, a composter with compost in it, or produce that is ready to harvest. - When trying to apply a buff to a patch I can always go over the whole patch again to trigger the buff (e.g. I can water the whole patch, even if parts of it were just watered and it still counts), but this doesn't work for the seed-buff. Maybe the game could track the attempt to place seeds as well to trigger the buff? - I find my self attempting to use Esc to deselect the current tool. Since Esc already closes the various windows it could work on the tool as well? (Maybe this is just unfortunate muscle-memory on my part, but I've ended up in the menu way more often than I intended.) - In the town-area: Maybe the buttons (or at least the clickable region) to navigate to the town could be made bigger. Like clicking anywhere (exluding other buttons) in the left and right 10% of the screen takes you to the area in that direction. - Maybe use F11 to toggle between windowed and full screen. This seems to be a common shortcut for games/application that have a windowed and a full screen mode. - And... shouldn't the front of the house (towards the path) also have a door?

2024-06-06 06:32:23 +0000 UTCHi Karl, while attempting to play Homegrown on Mac, I found out there's some issue on my 4K display where it gets super super laggy in full screen. When I downscale the window down to be about half the size of my sreen (in windowed mode), then it runs smooth. Not sure if this is a limitation on my computer, but it might be an optimization that needs to be made at some point. I'm on an M1 Mac, so while it's not a crazy good gaming computer, it typically doesn't have trouble with casual gaming.
