the studio move is a-go & we're totally redoing my dining room

Hello my dears!! The studio moving madness has begun!! I've been vlogging it a tiny bit, but to be frank, my mother has been doing all the packing before I even wake up in the mornings, so I haven't been able to get a lot of footage of that heh. So most of the "moving vlog" footage is gonna be stuff coming into the studio space/arranging it and things!

Pretty much everything in my dining room was studio stuff, so it's all tucked away now. My mom and I have been brainstorming what to do with the room now, and my mom suggested that I get a display cabinet for all my plushies and things -- that way, they have some place to live and I can look at them but they won't be all over the joint. *u* That is going to go on the wall where my shelving units used to be.

We also found this great cabinet/bookshelf combo, which is going to live where my desk currently is, and that's going to be for my books and my sewing machine I think. My mom brought up the fact that I don't really have any storage in my apartment, nowhere to put stuff away, which is SO true, so I'm excited to finally have a place to put things. ;0; My mom would rather I not be quite such a maximalist (she is a professional interior designer, so her input is very important to me but also...I love my trinkets), but I think me having proper storage places is a good compromise, cause it means I can keep all my little knick-knacks, but they'll have a place to live. :D

 I've been looking at fun drawer pulls/handles to replace the boring IKEA ones, and I've found this website called knobco that has so many cute crystal and ceramic drawer pulls. I wanna do really pretty crystal ones like this:

 I'm not sure!! But I'm excited to shop around and find some cute options. I think that my ~home reorganization~ will be a separate video from my studio moving vlog. :o) Also!! I wanted to say, that I do indeed have a Cincinnati vlog to edit...I'll be the last one of the crew to do so...and I hope y'all won't mind watching a vlog from a trip that took place over a month ago :') Time blindness is very annoying :-)\

My mother and I also decided to paint my dining table back white, cause the yellow tabletop was looking pretty rough, and we found some enamel finish/acrylic latex paint in the back of a closet -- it's the paint used on my door frames and cabinets, we believe, so my mom thought it would be a perfect color for the table, and be a good, durable finish. It looks SOOOO fresh and clean, and now it's just a matter of letting it cure for 48 hours before we put anything on it. Thank you mama!!! I'm going to have so much white furniture in my dining room, it's gonna feel so Swedish :') I'm actually really excited heh

I also think that I'll be able to turn my little yellow metal shelf into a plant hub!! Cause I'll be able to put away all the cat stuff and things I have on there right now. We're also taking the corner where my printer used to be, and turning it into a "cat kingdom" for the girls. We're getting a new cat tower for Soph by the front window, and moving that bigger one into the dining room, and we might get some other fun/cozy stuff for 'em over there. I wish I could drill cat shelves into my walls, but my walls are SUCH a nightmare to drill into, that's unfortunately a no-go. :((

Thank you all so much for your support and patience :') because of y'all, I'm able to refresh my home space and also finally have a dedicated studio again, and I'm so eternally grateful TuT me and my mom will be dropping off some things at the studio this afternoon, so I'll be sure to take photos then too so y'all can see the spot!!! YAHOOOOOO

April podcast ft. Mama Barton will be coming later this week, along with the sketchbook tour. I also will be getting the April postcards in on Friday, so I'll be mailing the April goodies out next week. :D
