Equilinox Website
Added 2018-11-08 09:45:49 +0000 UTCHey everyone,
The Equilinox website is almost finished now and it would be great if you could take a look at it and let me know what you think, and most importantly if everything looks/works correctly on your browser/device. While some of the content is still missing (notably in the Gallery section) the layout and functionality should all be finished now.
Here's the link: http://equilinox.com/patreon/
If you have any feedback then let me know, and if it's more of a technical issue rather than a design issue then you could give the feedback directly to Constantin (the web developer), seeing as I don't have much web developing experience. His email address is constantinrossyt@gmail.com and include the browser/browser version/OS in your message if you think it's relevant.
Thanks a lot!
Karl

Just a suggestion, your link gets me to your 404 Page (Not found)... And your Go-Back on the 404 Page does not get me back to your landing page.... Imho: You or your web-dev should at least try to redirect this via 301 to your Website, to not lose rankings in search engines like google. And you should fix the Back-Link to generally redirect to your website, not to the javascript.history item :-)
2018-11-11 22:24:55 +0000 UTCI would suggest that you use lazy loading on the images, especially on the gallery page. This is done to some extent by having buttons for revealing more images. However, for mobile devices that have a slower connection speed, it may put a lot of load on them if you are trying to download 21 images or so at once. You could also fade them in when they are loaded which would look much better. The lightbox generated by the baguetteBox.js library is a fantastic touch that I really like.

2018-11-09 07:19:18 +0000 UTCThanks, glad you like it :) From what I understand, the parallax effect would be too laggy for mobile so it's just replaced with a still image.

2018-11-09 07:19:04 +0000 UTCoverall, it looks great; I'll send Constantin an e-mail about the one technical issue I saw: on Safari on my iPhone, the parallax effect does not occur when I scroll down; but, it looks great anyway, because of your choice of images for the layers, and the blurring that you incorporated.
2018-11-09 01:35:38 +0000 UTCtake in mind that this would be the url of the live site which isn't online yet..403 means that you're not authorized so it's accurate for now :)
2018-11-08 23:43:24 +0000 UTCVery nice design on the site; smooth transitions on the backgrounds, style fits very well with the game, overall I'd say Constantin did an excellent job with the site. One thing however: I would strongly recomend against posting e-mail addresses anywhere on the site either visible or as part of the underlying code. The reason being the thousands of spam bots crawling the web continously searching for e-mail addresses. I would strongly recomend using a contact form instead to protect your e-mail address, possibly even apply for a captcha to validate the form data before it's submitted to the site as an added spam prevention. I imagine you would prefer getting mails from fans and customers over spam any day.
2018-11-08 22:23:06 +0000 UTCMobile version looks sweet!
2018-11-08 18:18:37 +0000 UTCI'd imagine that's filler for the time being-- just to test and make sure the layout is working properly ;)
2018-11-08 17:09:03 +0000 UTCThe layout looks very professional to me!
2018-11-08 17:08:04 +0000 UTCThis link: <a href="http://equilinox.com/patreon/gallery/videos/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://equilinox.com/patreon/gallery/videos/</a> why are the 8 videos all the same? Its disappointing for someone trying to explore about the game.

2018-11-08 14:59:19 +0000 UTCI clicked on Thin Matrix on the footer and it took me to a 403 page.
2018-11-08 13:01:28 +0000 UTCMy only feedback is that I think you're planning on undercharging for the game :)

2018-11-08 10:31:12 +0000 UTCNow talking about the website design, I love that paralax in the head, I saw it in one of your videos as you previewed it but seing it live is more exciting
2018-11-08 10:22:58 +0000 UTCThanks a lot for letting me know!
