Hi friends!! I was gonna write out a blog post for you, but I had a lot I wanted to say and update you on, so I made a little video instead! I talk about my Artist's Way journey a bit, as well as the LAIKA exhibit over at MoPOP (which was so good ToT), and just how my creative heart has been feeling lately!!
How have you been? How's your summer going? Happy Friday!! It's been warm in Seattle (not TOO warm, tho that might change next weekend...), but I'm still going on daily walks. I've ordered this sun hat and this bucket hat from BAGGU to keep my face PROTECTED from the DEADLY LASER RAYS of the sun
I've been anti bucket hat for so long but now...now I see their use. And I thought the pattern was cute!! :3
I also just got a new rug cover for my living room (I have a Ruggable rug in there, and I think it's time for an update) -- it's a simple black and white checkered print, but my mom agreed with me that it's timeless and will really brighten the space. :D Also googling how to reupholster stuff cause I love the shape of my ottoman, and it's really sturdy and has these beautiful carved wooden legs, but the fabric really isn't my taste anymore, SO maybe in a couple weekends I'll embark on that DIY journey.

2023-08-05 18:20:53 +0000 UTCI gasped when you described your 'closing duties' and going on daily walks because I recently independently started doing both of those things and they have helped me so much, too! In order to encourage myself to take slightly longer walks / spend more time not staring at a screen, I turned them into my dedicated podcast-listening time, 10/10 highly recommend (currently listening to Old Gods of Appalachia which is... fantastic and very spooky)

My mom loved her art when I was growing up, and she has a very distinct style! Some very very cute things. I LOVE your icon sets!! One of my fave rewards for sure. It's also been so lovely to see you in videos again!
