how i color grade my videos ✩
Added 2023-06-02 19:44:59 +0000 UTCHi friends! I'm editing a new vlog so I figured this would be a great time to quickly show you how I color grade all my videos !! I follow pretty much the same formula for all my clips, and then make minor adjustments/tweaks as necessary. I hope this helps you in one way or another!! If you've got any questions, lemme know~
I use Davinci Resolve now for all my editing, though I used to use Adobe Premiere Pro (and my process looked quite different in that program!)
I have this in a little text box in the video, but here's the simple rundown of my process:
1. adjust curves to brighten
2. fix white balance if necessary using temp and tint values
3. lower highlights
4. lighten shadows
5. bump up saturation
6. make little adjustments as necessary depending on the footage
I'm really hoping to have this video done by the end of the day today, fingers crossed xx

It’s free!! You can pay for the full studio version but I think the free version gives you access to enough things to edit pretty great videos, plus theirs loads of stuff online showing how to use the tools ! Hope this helps!
