Anduo Report - April 14th, 2021

Heya everyone! Vils back here with another weekly report for the week! Let's jump right on in.

Android Optimizations

bear has been hard at work on finding ways to compress and optimize filesize on the android version to avoid crashes due to devices running out of ram. Here's a visual look at what the assets of the game take up size-wise. As you can tell, most of it is from spicy porn pictures.

Phone Overhaul

Here's a peek at the implementation I've been doing with the new phone visuals that PmPerfect worked hard on. I even improved the rotating animation to look a lot nicer and snappier. It used to be three separate 'phones' the portrait phone, the landscape phone, and an in-between blank rotator phone that would do the rotation animation itself. 

But now I've reduced it to just the portrait and landscape phones, and they both rotate together while I crossfade between them for the swap. Idk why I didn't do it like that before.

Keep in mind this is still very work-in-progress because I haven't even implemented the new icons and fancy menu graphics. It's gonna look suuuper cool once that's all in. Goodbye default Unity UI programmer art.
