The Story of a Seri○us Chairpers○n Who Had Her Diaper Changed in the Nurse's Office

A Happy New Year!

Please look forward to working with me again this year.

If it were true, I would have liked to paint a New Year's card-like picture, but I was busy with New Year's relative events and health problems, and New Year's was over in a flash.

Ms. Osakabe did an excellent job of translation again this month.

Thank you very much.

Now for the rest of the story. Go ahead.

-------------------------------------------------------------

How did you like it?

I thought it was absolutely cute to see a short, strong-willed girl worried about peeing... so I drew this story.Short girls have small bodies, so they also have a small bladder and have a hard time.

I couldn't draw a New Year's card picture, but since it's a good opportunity, I'll post what I ate from the end of the year to New Year's. (These are the pictures I send to my friends.)

I don't know New Year's in other countries than Japan, so I wonder if New Year's celebrations are totally different in different countries...?

This is New Year's Eve soba.

We will eat on the night of 12/31.

This is Osechi.Osechi dishes are eaten from 1/1 to 1/3.

I eat only 1/1.The lower right is ozoni.

I heard that people who are good cooks make all their Osechi by hand, but I didn't make any.I bought some not so expensive ones.Only ozoni is homemade.

Osechi may be a kind of ritual...I don't feel like it's New Year's without it.

This is Kagamimochi. we will eat this mochi on 1/15.It is still displayed in the living room now.

This year is the year of the snake, so I wanted to put a snake in it, but the picture was blurry, so I haven't sent it to my friend.

I wanted someone to see it, so I put it here.Aren't snakes cute?(I'm in it)

I thought it might be a little interesting if someone who does not live in Japan saw it, so I put some things on the site.I introduced some New Year's foods that you might read about in a textbook.

I will be updating my English translation gradually this year.

I look forward to working with you in the future!

And again this year, the English outside the pages of the comic may have lots of mistakes, sorry.

I had never heard of such a traditional TV program in the US. I guess every country has something like that. Japan also has a program called Kohaku Uta Gassen, in which men and women compete in singing, but it has completely lost its popularity recently. Thank you for sharing your American New Year's story. It was a very interesting and entertaining story. :)

Thank you for your comment. The infirmary series is about the same school, so some of the children in the other stories are classmates.I, too, love the cameo appearances of the main characters in the other stories. Shrimps are often eaten at celebrations in Japan, regardless of the year of the snake. It is included in Osechi every year. The higher grade osechi for the rich include lobsters. Do they have fireworks on New Year's in the US...! I did not know that. Japanese people love fireworks, but they don't display them on New Year's Day. I knew of the Times Square building, but I had never heard of dropping a ball from above. I wonder if the New Year dawns when the ball drops? It is a mysterious event.

Thank you for your comment. It is so cute to see a difficult or feisty child using printed diapers for children. I agree. Thank you for your support this year as well.

Lovely story. I love all the cameos from other character. Very cool to see Japanese New Years customs. Question: did you eat エビ because it's the year of the ヘビ?lol In America, for New Years people usual go out and party with their friends/boyfriend/girlfriend. Fireworks are common. Lots of drinking and music. Probably the best known tradition is the dropping of the ball in Times Square, New York. "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" used to be a staple on TV, but Dick Clark passed away in 2012, so that isn't really a big thing anymore.

I love "short, strong-willed girl"🌸🌸 I hope her to wet pants forever…

Cute! The president of the morals committee's diapers being cutesy ones with baby prints is a great contrast and makes her even cuter in them, I hope she finds cute ones in adult sizes when she makes the switch. Happy new year to you as well, hope it goes well!
