It's Been a Long, Long Time

It's been a lil' long time since my last post. I've been constantly publishing new announcements to Discord but kinda neglected here. Sooooo let's wrap things up.

Events 

⭕ A new notification pipeline has been developed for attendance notes. This is enabled by default. You can also setup a webhook connection for this purpose.

⭕ iCalendar (a.k.a. iCal) integration for events is now completed. You can either link default WoW calendar or create other calendar integrations for your audiences and add them to Google, Outlook calendar etc.  Simply visit events calendar and create add button on right side. https://guildsofwow.com/upcoming-events

⭕ In addition to monthly view, daily and weekly view has been to calendar. You can toggle views from up-right corner. Mobile apps show daily view by default which provides a much better experience on small form factors. https://guildsofwow.com/upcoming-events

⭕ You can now set less than 7 days for event generation prior days.

Guild Operations

⭕ You can now change your guild slug on management. Previously guild slug could only be set while creating the guild so if you are unhappy with yours, here you go: https://guildsofwow.com/manage/options#guild-slug 

⭕ You can now migrate your guild. If you have used WoW guild migration you can move all your guild data to your new one. https://guildsofwow.com/manage/options#guild-migration

⭕ Blizzard APIs were quite problematic and I had to revisit some of the connection infrastructure because of this. One of the side-benefits of this iteration is to BYOK feature. You can create your own API keys and system will be able to refresh your guild quicker. https://guildsofwow.com/manage/options#byok

Recruitment

⭕ You can now add webhooks to your recruit alerts. When enabled a message will be sent immediately after a suitable recruitment listing gets created. Simply visit 'Recruitment Alerts' section and update your previous alerts. https://guildsofwow.com/recruit-alerts

Audit

⭕ Audit reports are now collecting up to 4 weeks of data, so you can view past weekly reset scores, 

⭕ A vertical separator line is added for showing weekly reset dates,

⭕ Chart tooltips can now be mouse hovered for viewing details, 

⭕ Chart tooltips are being positioned with a more wisely manner on both desktop and mobile.

PvP Ratings & Progress Achievements

⭕ PvP ratings have been implemented. Character cards, public recruits and all reports now display highest ranking and tier name.

⭕ Public recruits now display earned progression achievements (e.g. Aotc, Keymaster, PvP tiers...)

⭕ Guild reports display average M+ ranking of top 5 characters and average PvP ranking of top 3 characters. These average rankings and raid progress summary will be displayed on guild search in the near future for showing brief information about guild activities.

⭕ Audits now show earned weekly rated PvP honors. Players gain scores calculated by the earned honor.

Connections

⭕ Profile settings now include a connections tab. You can manage your Twitch, Twitter, Discord and Patreon connections from this section.

⭕ Guild integrations now include Twitter connections. Just like Discord webhooks you can bind social profiles to your guild for auto creating posts with the channels you want.  ATM following channels are supported; gallery, posts, progress, live streamers

Custom Domain

⭕ You can now enable using your domain for e-mails, webhooks and bots. Links will redirect to your domain instead of guildsofwow.com in this case.

⭕ A custom Google Analytics tracking code can be set for your domain.  Simply visit custom domain options panel for updating your preferences. https://guildsofwow.com/manage/options#custom-domain

UI / UX

⭕There's been many UI updates and enhancements within these months. Removal of jQuery from the system, updating all web dependencies and revisiting places where mobile experience was lacking are some of these undertakings.

⭕ Added splash-screen images for newer Apple devices. If you already have added GoW to your homescreen and don't see any splash, you can remove and add again. https://guildsofwow.com/install-applications#ios-app
