GoW June Updates

Hello everyone, another month passed and here we are with 9.1 and Season 2 😁😁😁

June was the month of event management on GoW, so there have been many enhancements on event planning and Discord bot. Here are the details 🙃

DISCORD BOT

⭕ Attendees show a clickable gear penalty and will navigate to website with a popup when clicked,

⭕ Attendance data is being saved after selecting spec. Notes step is totally optional now,

⭕ Bot now provides some additional guidance while setting up event connection,

⭕ Connecting with Discord bypasses welcome page,

⭕ After saving attendance via Discord, gear warnings are being included into the direct message (if any),

⭕ Bots section on management displays errors occurred on Discord (if any),

⭕ Bots are now available to all guilds. Tier 1 guilds can create a single channel for trying event bots. Each increasing guild tier gives more quota for bot connections,

⭕ When selecting tentative as attendance status, entering a note is mandatory on both web and Discord bot,

⭕ Discord bot sends a reminder if attendance is not completed after a moment,

⭕ Completed or cancelled events are being colored red,

⭕ Old events are automatically deleted from channel,

⭕ Discord bot is now verified 🥳

EVENT PLANNING

⭕ Now recurring events can be set as disabled. Previously they could only be deleted. This option will be useful for canceling events temporarily,

⭕ Upcoming event default roster view now shows not attending characters separately,

⭕ You can add events to your Google, Outlook and Office 365 calendars by clicking the calendar button near upcoming event's start date,

⭕ Recurring events now have a dedicated Attendance Report on management with more filters and options,

⭕ Management has another page for viewing all upcoming events including canceled and completed ones. For visiting this page simply navigate to events page on management and click 'View All' button on Upcoming Events section,

⭕ You can now migrate a recurring event date and all of it's data to another one. This way you can change or fix your attendance data grouping and bot connections. To use this feature you can navigate to one of your guild event dates and click the 'Migrate Event Date' button,

⭕ There's a dedicated event generator service which will create and update events on a more timely manner,

⭕ Event detail page has some enhancements and fixes for saving attendances. Also event managers can now alter all attendances with a new user interface,

⭕ Events module on guild home page now has a "View Calendar" button which will navigate to that guild's focused calendar,

⭕ On event detail page you can now export attendees to excel including attendance and audit data,

⭕ Event detail page has a view team button (if it's team event),

⭕ On management you can easily cancel upcoming events without navigating to event detail page,

⭕ Event detail page now shows both local time and realm time. Clicking date toggles between these two,

⭕ There's now a timer on event detail page, which shows how much time left for event start,

⭕ Calendar shows all events on local time and with correct time formatter,

⭕ Calendar now displays WoW weekly and holiday events,

⭕ There's now a 24hr toggle on guild options page. This selection is effecting e-mails, Discord bot and in-game addon. By default guilds in North America and Australia use AM/PM and all other guilds use 24hr format. For changing your guild's time format you can visit Options > Localization,

⭕ A new guild rank filter has been added to events. This selection will be able to quickly filter guildies by their ranks,

⭕ When a character sets an attendance all of that character's audit data automatically gets refreshed,

⭕ Event detail page now allows more than one character attendance for supporting merged Blizzard accounts,

⭕ One-off upcoming events can be bound to recurring events,

⭕ Upcoming events are automatically generated when a new event date gets created or creation of upcoming events turns on.

ADDON

⭕ In game addon has a new button for directly inviting to party. This button is suitable for guilds/events which calendar events are not suitable or required,

⭕ Events listing order has been reverted.

GUILD SEARCH

⭕ After character selection you can now select if you are willing to transfer realm or faction.

M+

⭕ Blizzard M+ rating service changes have been implemented. This change created another benefit that refreshing guild data will sync all the m+ ratings at the same time,

⭕ Home page team rosters can now be sorted by M+ rating.

OTHER

⭕ Welcome screen shows recommendations for wrong Battle.net account login,

⭕ Chat message hours both work with AM/PM and 24hour formats depending on your system localization,

⭕ Non tiered guilds show last guild and audit refresh dates separately.

BUG FIXES

⭕ Guild search by character now also includes connected realm guilds,

⭕ Fixed a lot of UI elements for having more visual consistency and a better mobile experience,

⭕ Public recruit alerts service fixed,

⭕ There has been many under the hood changes for performance improvements,

⭕ Team poster images have been fixed,

⭕ A bug with public recruit dps search has been made,

⭕ A bug fix has made for attendance sync via desktop client,

⭕ Some timezone issues have been fixed with in-game addon,

⭕ Fixed an audit bug about two handed weapon enchants,

⭕ Some HTML markup fixes have been done for posts, guild info and recruitment sections,

⭕ Fixes have been done for non-guildie audit and attendance records.
