Gauging Interest for a Potential Visual Novel

Hey guys. Sorry I've been silently recently. I've been having issues with my personal life as well as putting my attention on completing the two game jam VNs I did. I'm not sure when I will return to working on BYH, but it will take some time. I do feel bad for speaking after such a long time of being silent with nothing to show, but hopefully things get back on track by the end of this year.

Anyways, as a way to get out of a writer's block, I decided to work a tiny bit on another project. Before I continue on, I know a few longtime followers of mine might be a little concerned with these words. Rest assured, my focus will still primarily be on By Your Hands. The proposed VN will probably be a long ways from being released even as a demo. This post is purely to see how interested people would be in reading such a VN.

Getting back on track, the VN is about a gay content creator in his late 20s named Gabriel. He's a libertarian goat who struggled with his sexuality during life. His favorite podcast is hosted by a libertarian and traditional dragon named Derek. He's basically the perfect ideal of masculinity: married to a beautiful wife, father of three amazing children, handsome, intelligent, and a great leader. Gabriel has a massive crush on Derek, but understands that things wouldn't happen between the two of them. Gabriel would then come to a podcast convention where Derek was hosting a talk at. After the convention, the two would have a conversation where Derek convinced the younger man to move to his city to further his online career. Gabriel agreed and would eventually become one of his closest friends. He'd also turn to God after being lost in life. Years later, Gabriel is hitting it big with his online persona and he's closer to Derek than ever. Perhaps maybe a little too close, as Derek is very eager to be all handsy with the goat and he would often flirt with him in ways that come across as intense. It all leads up to one night where the two are alone at home and Gabriel ends up drinking too much and spills how much he wants the dragon. He ends up coming onto Derek, and the dragon doesn't even resist, resulting in the two having sex. The next day, the two are mortified for committing adultery, as well as Derek realizing he did a gay act, and they don't how to deal with the situation. They soon choose to continue this affair, but what will become of the two in the end?

That's essentially the prologue of the VN, with the main plot revolving around the affair and the relationship between these two. It would be for people who have an adultery or cuckolding kink, as well as being a power fantasy of getting with the hot seemingly straight traditional married guy. That being said, it would (hopefully) appeal to those without such kinks as long as they're okay following a bunch of morally dubious characters.

My main concerns with this project is how the adultery is being depicted as well as the politics of the characters. I understand that some people might be wary of reading a VN about a man helping someone cheat on his wife and be worried on how that's handled. I also understand that people might want the story to focus more on the characters ditching their politics in favor of being more progressive whereas I want to focus on how their adultery affects the people in their lives as well as themselves. Not to mention the concerns that hurtful right-wing beliefs would be glorified or that the VN would be propaganda for those beliefs, which is obviously not my intention. Those are valid concerns and I want to make my intentions clear.
