So, about the drawing!
You are already familiar with her, I drew her in support of protests in Georgia. According to MarichkaWiki she is half ukrainian half georgian, so we decided to draw her in georgian traditional costume :)
Text you see is part of poem called "Kavkaz", by Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko
I tried to translate myself, it says
"And glory to you, blue mountains, covered in ice!
And to you, great knights, not forgotten by God.
Fight and you will overcome! God helps you!
For you the truth, for you the glory,
And the holy will!"
Autor was actually friend with famous Georgian poet Akaki Tsereteli, I wanted to use part of his poem beside this one but uh... I have no idea what makes sense in context xD
Last photo you see is lady I found in The National Library of Georgia, with big struggle I fought through ugly ass goverment design and unfamiliar language. That was year ago. Now thay've chenged design and added english👺👺👺
Still absolutely worth it, what a beautiful woman!
