He qualified from the quarters when someone else was disqualified, qualified from the semis with the exact same tactic (other people crashing), and you didn't mention he was Australia's first event Winter Gold after 50-odd years of Australia competing (most people from outside Australia don't realise that there are actually significant skifields and winter sports). "Doing a Bradbury" is understood by all Australians as a figure of speech. And as an aside the Australian voice on the commentary was a recently retired footballer starting out his career who in the 20+ years since was known as one of the most hated football commentators before now being Mayor of Perth. Both Bradbury and the commentator would have their own episodes on Australian versions of the Upshot, their lives are so crazy.
