Chapter Update!

I've had a bit of a delay, but chapters are still coming!

So, I meant to have the first chapter out this last Friday to surprise everyone. Instead, I ended up going to a office store and spending 4x the amount I'd ever spent on a chair. I've bought multiple chairs off amazon based on reviews, and none of them ever fit me right. Even when I went to the store, most of the expensive ones didn't fit me either. But I did find one that forms to my back perfectly and I spent the premium to finally have a chair that helps my lower back pain.

That wasn't all. I own a shotgun for home defense, but I've wanted to get a conceal carry handgun for years. I finally bought that bullet and spent the day at the gun range. I'm comfortable with rifles because I grew up on a farm, but I've only shot handguns a few times. It was a good day for familiarizing myself with general handgun principles.

Safety is a huge concern with me because of the kids, so I also bought a gun safe with fingerprint scanner for quick access, and a Glock 44, .22 lr to help me drill good shooting habits. The ammo is cheap, so I plan on putting a couple thousand rounds through in over the next few months. After that, I'll purchase a larger caliber handgun. I want to up my proficiency quiet a bit. I'm also looking at a few shooting classes for safety and tactical defense.

One of the most important safety purchases you can make for a concealed weapon is the holster. That was easily the hardest decision to make because there are so many different types and styles.

If only that was all then I'd probably have a chapter out. My shoes I've been using for working out/boxing had a blow out so I had to purchase a new pair.

Oh, and I had my birthday thrown in there just to complicate things. :D>

Anyways, now you know what I've been up to. It has been crazy, but it's a good crazy. I'm getting a lot done and I get to write this sitting in a chair that actually fits.
