Small Delay; Laptop Swapping and Family Matter!

Heyo! My laptop died. Fortunately I have another one; less than a week old. Just announcing I'm taking time to organize the transferred files. Nothing is lost. (AFAIK)

I don't think it'll be more than a couple day's delay (AKA, the time spent fixing that today, plus one day off for a reason that will be mentioned below.) But my resolution this year is to try and keep y'all in the know, because I'm very shy and get nervous announcing personal troubles. I get scared they'll sound like excuses.

Announcing this last since I didn't want a scary title and that it was thankfully only a brief scare. Found out a family member was rear-ended this morning. But they and their dog are unharmed! We spent hours together this morning and they fortunately are witty as ever and mostly annoyed the about being forced to relax. Their dog had a specialized super-sturdy buckle and was held secure, just really worried about them. No physical injuries between either of them. WEAR YOUR SEATBELTS.

Needless to say, between these two things happening back-to-back, I'm still a bit rattled. Taking a small breather. Knowing me I'll probably still work. But hopefully because it's something I'd choose to do, it won't compound the stress.
