Poll Time and What I've Been Up To!

Hello!

I've been quiet for a bit. I'm hard at work on two projects: a 7,000 word full tour story, and an audio. Both are nearing completion, so that's all well and good. I apologize for being slow, but I think that's par for the course for me now!

Good news is... Tooth and Craw has captured my imagination as of late. Work and a sick pet have been keeping me away from it for a week-and-a-half. But I want to let you all decide on a TaC's latest status condition!

Typically, polls are only $10 rewards. But everyone can vote this time because I haven't released a story/audio in a bit! I'll release the poll's vore scene as a text doc. However, other vore scenes in the TaC update will remain exclusive to the $10 tier.

In-game, Windsy the Magpie will act as a bit of a status vendor for the Starlit Wood. She'll give a couple of effects that let you interact differently with the preds in that area. Poisonous is already in the game—and it serves a similar function: it adds optional flair to certain scenes.

Rejuvination will serve a similar purpose. Except a bit less raunchy, ha! In short, it's a revive. After a vore scene, the player is reborn (if fatal) or magically transported (if non-fatal) and placed on a different location on the map.

But there's a lot of ways to realize that concept. How would you all prefer Rejuvination to be flavored? (Pardon the pun!)

The Poll runs for one week! Get your votes in before then! (You can select more than one option.)

1. Spirit Run

It's honestly a whole lot like this.

After digestion (if nonfatal settings are turned off) Yimley appears nearby as a spirit. They must walk to their remains. After which, a new body forms for them! Think of it as... a second chance. You're free to wander a small, contained area as an invisible ghost. For flavor, mostly. Voyeurism too, I suppose.

For non-fatal players, Yimley's body undergoes a safe implied full tour. Meanwhile, their spirit is extracted for their safety. Instead of remains, Yimley interacts with their unconscious body—like in those old cartoons when a character's ghost hops back into their body.

2. Pred Peek

Peekaboo!

Enjoy a peak into the pred POV with this variant! After Yimley hits a Game Over, the game switches to their pred's POV for a small bit. It's explained how they eject Yim-Yam from their body: horking them up, the mouse sneaking out, or via the traditional method. Y'know.

After which, the POV shifts back to normal. If your settings allow for Yimley to expire, they're given a new body. The item is a seed. And it sprouts into a flower. Once those flower petals peel away—the mouse's new self is held up inside.

3. Way of Water

Pictured: Yimley.

Yimley simply melts into sentient liquid (berry juice!) with this variant—right in the pred's mouth. When Yimley enters a pred's maw in a text scene, an icon/hyperlink replaces a word in the text. You can click it to activate, well, this.

A rough image of their digestive system pops up on the screen. And you can click where you'd like to go. (But you can't return to an earlier stage of the GI tract.) You're given a small text description for each location.

This mini game has a counter representing time in hours. On nonfatal settings, this counter does not decrease. But on fatal, it does. What happens when it hits zero? You're absorbed. So avoid lingering in the same spot.

Because fatal/nonfatal possess mostly the same text here, I can afford to jazz it up a bit.

So! I'd have to change the name from Rejuvination. This is a later addition to the poll. It's less fleshed-out. But it does fit the "post Game Over" theme this poll has.

After a vore scene, the seed that activates this status takes effect when the pred goes to sleep—but only if it's digested.

You get a look inside their nightmare. In it, the predator is now the prey. And now that Yimley is, well, gone—you get to play as the former-pred.

You can explore a mini dreamscape while shrunken that results in a single vore scene. This variant only has endings catered to the fatal crowd. It's only a dream, however. So... it's not really actually fatal? Either way, that's the catch. Some of you may really like that—others may not.
