Incoming update

Been quiet lately, but working on stuff.

The KSP project is... I am so angry. While doing reshoots a couple weeks back, I hit F5 instead of F9. So I quicksaved over the save I was working with. This shouldn't be a huge deal, aside from the fact that I'd already done a ton of footage on a cloudy morning... meaning I've had to find a similar cloudy morning to match up reshoots, since there's no way to wind back time. And this has sucked. A lot. Because it's actually way harder than you'd think (I've easily spent 10 hours doing this, god help me.)

It's entirely my fault. I should have kept a clean save, but I didn't, because I am dumb.

I'm so annoyed about this, because this vid should have been done like a year ago, but I keep running up against technical walls.

I think the end result will be pretty decent. But I worry it won't be worth the wait. Or investment.

Still working on a couple smaller projects. Hoping one is done in the next week or two.

I am, very slowly, still pulling stuff from my google takeout archive. In all honestly, it's rough to do. I had so much fun in ST sessions, and now that is lost to me due to circumstance. But I promised a YIR (YIRs?), so I will deliver. I have so much good footage. Like, really, really good stuff. At some point I will switch back over to this as a priority, but I've been avoiding it because pulling footage kind of sucks. Especially when I have to recreate so much of what I'd had.

But it will be worth it. I think. I hope. I literally have footage from years of sessions that nobody else has, because of my role in them. I think something very cool can emerge. Or at least I hope.

I have been, very slowly, working my way through Darkwood this month. I found it kind of hard to get into, but once I did, it became very good. I think I'm nearly at the end now. Not sure that I'd call it a "scary" game, but it definitely is a "tense" game. If gaben puts it on sale in the near future and you have any interest in survival/spooky games, you could do much worse.

I realize that these updates are probably not what people are looking for, but I felt I should say something, since it's been a bit.
