Added 2019-06-12 22:41:17 +0000 UTCSo I somehow kindasorta managed to fly a roughly perfect profile tonight. Wasn't really expecting it. I figured I'd have 7 or 8 more stabs before I found it, but, no.
Gonna have to study the raw footage to figure out how exactly I did this, because it's literally a 900m/s difference in delta-v over my last test. But... can't really complain!
But I did a brief vid! Of this final test of a platform that I started working on in, I think, February.

In Feb, I figured it'd take "like a week" to crank out a big SSTO that looked cool and did what I wanted, despite having never made/flown a big SSTO before.
Learning experience, I guess. Being a giant weirdo that wants to do things right while also having such a shitty PC that the simulation runs at like 5FPS also didn't help lol.
Buuuuut... Totally done now on the design front of this weird venture. Now to do production.
Which, in my mind, is a short, but slick cinematic vid. And then a mess of weeks of timelapse footage that I've not figured out exactly what to do with yet, but I will.
But hopefully it results in something neat that I can launch of off for other cool KSP stuff (pun intended and also unintended.)
