Here we go again
Added 2019-03-06 00:17:03 +0000 UTCI was, uh, a little over-optimistic about finishing up my little project.
If you follow me on twitter, you can probably guess at roughly what it is: I've restarted KSP. I've sunk a fairly ungodly amount of time into designing a single vehicle, and I decided to document the process. At this point, I have over 60 hours of footage. I'm still feeling out how I want to proceed with it. Being in an environment where I can't do clean VO certainly limits my options, but I'm playing with a few things.
I'm still amassing footage. That aspect is nearly done, though.
To provide some sort of content, please enjoy a time lapse I did today. Music was selected on the basis of the length of the time lapse and not actually edited to at all (it's Germany Germany.)

At this point, I'm pretty satisfied with the design, I just need to figure out the optimal flight profile.
I also haven't tried underwing SRBs to just brute force things... and I will once I figure out the optimal profile, just so I can compare.
I still have that Arma footage I haven't finished yet, and I will. KSP has sort of swallowed the last month for me.
This year so far has been... very rough. Kind of hopeless. I mean, not that I've had a good year in quite a while. But this one has been particularly bad so far. I'd be lying if I said that hasn't affected my productivity. A soul-crushing reality has a way of doing that.
I'm trying to keep going, though.
And I appreciate everyone that has carried on with me. Thank you, as always.
Going to try to get some cool shit done.
