Good gracious I love seeing this kind of gentle love between two masculine partners. It validates so much of the my (male) partner and my experiences. Weโve both been hurt in different ways and our hopes & fears are the same, but heโs been hurt more memorably than me (Iโm lucky to have repressed the memories...defs on purpose...), but weโre so gentle & kind to one another that we always reassure one another of our pure intentions ๐ฅฐ well...I mean weโve been together for like 4 yrs so the intentions are sometimes spicy too ๐ณ๐ ๐ (i should note that I am a cis pansexual female & he is a cis straight male, but he completely rejects hegemonic masculinity & I try to help him see that he doesnโt need to emulate some specific definition โmanlinessโ to be masculine. Weโre both quite emotional, but heโs a lot more stoic & silent. I love when I can help him get more comfortable though, because then he feels safe sharing his emotions with me & I feel honestly honored to be there for him in those moments...) Omg sorry Iโm a sap & a writer ๐
