"BLOOM" - With actress Anna Akana

Hey guys! So here are a few images from my set with Anna Akana!
She came down to Wonderland Studios for me to get some shots against our Flower Wall backdrop and they turned out so good!
Her make up was done by Cat Calico and the amazing outfit was made by Jenny Newman!
I shot this with 2 Alien Bee strobes, one slightly higher above shooting at a downward angle with a modifier from Parabolix ( the 35D ) and the other strobe being to her side just using a simple stripbox.
I used my X1D from Hasselblad to do this shoot, with the XCD 90mm lens ( which translates late to around 71 or 72mm on a full frame system ).
Shot at f4.0, 1/500sec. I LOVE this camera for studio work, not only because it's medium format, but because I can shoot wide open with a fast shutter speed WITHOUT needing to fiddle with high speed sync! It allows me for greater creativity, much easier!
