Designed by myself and sculpted by Alan Blackwell.
Initially made for the Recognition Guide series, I lobbied for this one to be added to the kickstarter when they were brain storming an extra salvage box mech, and here we are!
I put some extra time in pushing bits around to make sure this sculpt felt as good as possible (though nothing is perfect), and getting to see it rendered now harkens back to the early 2000s with fan sculpts/renders of the design.
How many Blood Asp boxes are you guys picking up in the pledge manager?

2023-06-05 14:42:55 +0000 UTCGood feedback. I think technically this new render setup shows more detail of the sculpt, sometimes the old setup would wash out cool detail. However the new lighting is also moodier, which can distract the brain from focusing on details. Basically no perfect win haha. But as seen I at least knocked down the saturation a bit. Might also be me being a night person and at night I prefer a more subtle lighting presentation to look at :D

Still feel the render feels smudgy compared to the old style, but if it saves you time in rendering and is easier of file size I'll just have to accept it. Just feel like I have to focus more on the picture to get all the details in before got a lot easier at a glance. IDK Anyways, great work form both you and Alan. Keep e'm coming, I did add 4 of these bad boys to my pledge.

2023-06-01 06:31:46 +0000 UTCThey're a logical piece of clan salvage or purchase for a well equipped IS force to run. Standard Gauss slugs, and ammo free lasers, fits right into any houses logistical system until it takes critical damage.
