Drillson Concept Sketch

This is another vee (particularly with hovers) where I felt the old design shapes were so generic and it's one I rarely hear people talk about, that blowing it up big time was warranted so that it can be a more memorable design going into the future.
I changed the main form from square soap to hexagonal soap, and gave it a central hull shape that was a simple wedge.
Then, rather than try to make it some elegant mixture of forms, I took the idea of its few asymmetrical elements and deliberatly built it out of bolt on modules, as if it was designed purely for task rather than looks.
Built out commanders box, the existing bolt on LRM launcher, side engine intakes. Nothing goes too far into changing the core wedge.

2023-02-16 17:48:42 +0000 UTCProbably gonna happen at some point. Before the first KS we were tinkering with a mech scale Leopard but it was too complicated at the time. Personally I'd rather do map scale. Cheaper, more usable in games, way easier to make.

I hope to see some more awesome self-propelled artillery units as well, and maybe some more battle armored infantry designs.
