Dervish 3D Sculpt

Design by Bishop, sculpt by Alex Immerzeel. For those newer to knowing all the artists and sculptors involved, Alex was my guy for getting all of the GoAC box mechs done and a decent number of early wave one clan invasion mechs, along with a ton of IWM sculpts. He's typically working on other things these days, but always cool to have him hop in for one. He took a liking to the Dervish and picked it, maybe it was the voluptuous missile racks?
I think this design has come such a long way from the old. Bishops design moved it a big way forward, and then the 3D model rounded it out even more proportionally now that you can read all its forms separately. I feel it can stand among its 55ton peers and look good in a weight band that is pretty much exclusively good looking mechs.

Not enough love for it same as with the Whitworth, both are surprisingly good at what they should be doing, which is stand off fire support! You fire till your LRMs are dry, then you move in with your Lasers and in the Dervish's case SRMs which for more fun can be loaded with Infernos, to really make those later game heat issues more of a problem for the OP4.
