Phew, sorry for the delay. Had a lot of social engagements and general "away from computer" time the last few weeks. Now introvert me is getting re-hermitted to my computer so here's a new set of renders :)
Nightsky model is of course all done and sent off for production. All the mechs going into the retailer mercenaries force packs were a mad dash of production to fit them into release schedules while also not delaying kickstarter production too badly.
This one was pretty tricky to make the feeling of the sketch translate to 3D, particularly when it comes to the width of it. So I'm not 100% happy with the result, but doing better would have required more drastic explorations of options that aren't usually part of the process so late in the game, and felt they might merely be personal feelings rather than objective issues.
That said, Alan's modeling work on this one was good as it always is, I'm just speaking to my art directorial ramblings and the modifications I personally make to sculpts.
So, ye Nightsky fans tell me what YOU think of the result and I'll defer to that :)
