Devastator Concept Sketch

Use as part of my 1st Kestrel Grenadiers.

I use these in my davion units. Have thought about adding one to com star.

Yup. one of my units has one that we had almost converted into a dual cockpit to act as the Liaison 'mech that carried our House Mercenary Relations Liaison into battle. We later did this using a Raven instead (to have a fast stealthy mech equipped with everything needed to record EVERYTHING on the battlefield). It's something i've wanted to do is design a purpose built Liaison Mech that would had originally been used by the SLDF/HAF in their role as a "neutral" third party observer to keep an eye out for "war crimes" and the like. Already had a name for the first one used by the SLDF... the "Chaperone." i just can't decide what it looked like, a friend said to take the look of the Chameleon as the base since it would have been in abundance numbers and many having already been equipped with dual cockpits since it was a training 'mech!

That thing looks awesome! I have fielded the twin gauss+ppc variant and it is glorious! I had a book moment where i was surrounded. 1 ppc here, 1 gause to another mech, then a ppc and gauss to yet another.... blaze of glory!

Looks like a nice refinement on the design! I did use one on the table fir a few years.

Used it only in Megamek till now, because the mini... well you know. I like this version, but the head gives me some headaches. It could use something like a grey knight terminator head, more flat and angled. Looking again, it almost looks like a dervish in a powersuit. :D

It looks pretty nice! I can't say I'm a fan of the head though. I know it matches the newer art, but proportional it just looks too small and too close to the Firestarter. I liked the head of your commission, or from the original TRO, a little bit better. But maybe it looks better as a miniature. It'll be fun to put compare this side-by-side with the other hundred-tonners when it comes out in miniature form.

Yes I have 2 in my merc force. Piloted by twins. Diffently a good new look.

Generally I am no fan of Assault Mechs because I find most of them not challenging enough. Mostly they are simply to slow for my preferred kind of playing BT. But the Devastator definitely has a place in my heart since the MAC Szenario book. I liked the look and the concept. I really appreciate that you took the Devastator one step further!

Gorgeous work! I absolutely do field the Devastator with my Knights Errant regiment for House Davion. It's a great assault mech and very iconic!

I face one just about every week in my Wednesday night AS game as well as deploy one every now and again 😉

It lives up to its name. Devastators weathered a lot fire while laying down some heavy damage. Intimidating on the table top, especially “back in the day" of the MAC supplement.

The Devastator is one of my favorites. It's hard to go wrong with 2 gauss rifles and 2 PPCs.

Oh god! Yes! My favourite 100 ton mech! I know a lot of mechs in the TRO's post 3050 don't a lot of love or attention, but there are many great mechs in there.

That's a lot of dakka. I don't field one of these yet but I might after seeing this.
