Longbow Prototype Painted
Added 2021-07-11 10:26:37 +0000 UTCChris Lowrey wanted to show off some of his excellent painting skills on the Longbow he modeled for the kickstarter. We're so close to everyone getting their hands on it, and everything else.
Keep in mind this is a prototype print Chris had made, not a final production plastic that has some differences.

2021-07-19 13:56:05 +0000 UTCWhile it's shorter than the Battle Master, it more than makes up for it in width. It's the second widest boy in the entire plastic mini line-up next to the King Crab. Ironically enough, this height actually puts it in the same height range as the Warhammer / Rifleman, which is fiting considering the source material. But it definatly brings the beef despite its short stature.

Seeing it next to the Battlemaster with the very prominent cockpit supports that notion. It's kinda like a sports car next to a SUV. ...at least concerning the windows. I guess neither will win any race. ...except if total destruction of other racers is allowed :)

I ordered three because of my love for the Stalker but the Longbow, which I wasn't really familiar with until recently, is starting to grow on me. That very aesthetically pleasing camo pattern and colour scheme certainly helps.
