Turkina 3D Renders

Turkina time.

More a matter of always forgetting in the moment rather than it being a hard task, I've finally slightly improved my render setup. Of course I really should move to a full beauty rig like what Chris has been doing for the turntables haha.
The ground plane grey now matches the skybox grey so there's no odd transition line, and I darkened the base hex to look more like the packaged mini.

Does it look better this way?

Turkina, that and the Longbow are the widebois of the campaign.

Anthony Scroggins

Which is wider the Turkina or King Crab?

James Abbot-Cole

I'm very happy I was able to fix a Falcon totem mech (before they went full DA bird totem). I always saw the potential.

A bit of an odd design but looks vicious. The rear torso looks like a Bear Cub torso hahaha.

It looks great! The more i see of the Turkina, the more I am appreciating having bought one.

There are a lot of improvements, I kinda liked the "nimbler" design of the first miniature but it is not realistic. The beefier legs and the new shoulders look great. I am not sold on the cockpit but that is a personal opinion. Overall, a huge improvement. I am eagerly awaiting for the sculpt to see how it looks on the hand.

Completely agree about the launchers. Turkina is one of the most improved designs of this whole project, IMO. Then again, as a Falcon loyalist who has wanted but been unable to love the Turkina for years this could just be wish fulfillment. :-D

I appreciate that the giant launchers are now mounted to the shoulders, rather than *being* the shoulders. That, the beefier legs and the redesigned upper arms go a long way to making this monster look scary, rather than a little comic. I like it!

Turkey is a little shorter and about the same volume. Those huge missile racks take a lot of space.

Anthony Scroggins

That thing's a beast!

Andrew Dickinson

How does the Turkina compare to the King Crab, size-wise?

I love how wide it is.

Looks beefy

Trevor R.N.

That's one big, fat bird. Nice work!
