Resin Prototype Prints

Here are some personal prototype prints Chris Lowrey had made of the mechs he's worked on.
They all look amazing, but once again the Hunchback really sticks out.

if these are an example of how the miniature are all going to look then i can't wait for mone to show up.

The Hunchback looks incredible.

It's interesting that you say that. I noticed that my details in my latest two GoAC boxes were much crisper than the ones I got a year ago. The plastic is also much harder to manipulate.

Raymond White

You need to paint the Stalker in Zeta colors!

Robert Moore

I'll need to bust out the black weathering powder for that hunchback. It looks great.

I have a mighty need for that Hunchback and Stalker.

Chris

I am looking forward to seeing it!

Robert Moore

Really wish these would come out in resin. I'd pay a premium for that, they're so crisp. That Stalker and Cataphract especially!

Andrew Dickinson

Not quite. Plastic will always be a bit softer.

Anthony Scroggins

Nothing new yet. Not sure when they need the Roc done.

Anthony Scroggins

At least production resin would be a bit sturdier than print resin. My resin stuff has so far broken at the joints rather than any real snapping/shattering when dropped.

Anthony Scroggins

Resin figs are really nice from a modeler/painter perspective given how well they retain detail, but they don't necessarily make the best gameplay figs since they are very fragile by comparison to plastics and metals. Case in point, the Longbow I would have loved to include with this batch had my cat not batted it off the table and shattered the fig before I could take a photo of it.

Chris Lowrey

That Hunchback pose is badass, it doesn't matter who you are.

I just hope the production versions can maintain this level of detail.

Kanrei13

Very nice, how are the OST brothers coming along?

Robert Moore

Right?!

10mm scale resin casts would look amazing.

Anthony Scroggins

Man... these look great. Kind of wish we could get them in resin. So crisp.
