Grasshopper 3D Sculpt

Was a little hard to count up who was requesting what for additional renders, but I saw a mention or two for the Grasshopper so I'll start here :)
Sculpt by Alan Blackwell.
You have permission to publicly re-post the up close torso shot elsewhere, the rest keep to patreon for now.
That is STUNNING, Anthony! You knocked it out of the park!

When I get my hands on this mini I know which paint scheme it will get, 21st Centauri Lancers :)

I was always a fan of the 'hopper. One of the best IntroTech 'Mechs hands down. This nails it pretty well.

I do keep thinking about getting that little final editing done for my book haha. I'm just distracted in every direction these days.

At this scale of a miniature, you can't fit any extra detail in a hole that small.
In setting? That'd be an access point for mounting.

Not a big fan of the head but I never run Grasshoppers so you can feel free to ignore me.

I like it. I don't like liking Grasshoppers. Hoppers are overrated machines, with more obnoxious Fanbois than SEC football teams... I need something left to hate...
Ah well... it's still armed like a Neutered Medium! :P
(just a much better looking neutered medium)

Looking great as always. Still don't know what the folks at FASA was thinking with putting missiles in the head, right next to the pilot.
Thank you so much for sharing all your great work. And here is hoping you might find some time to work on Protectorate Wars.

Great job on this! I would love to see more multi angle shots whenever possible. Sometimes the angles on a single shot are not so flattering. The Hopper1 image for example is ok, but the rest of the shots were amazing. Thanks for sharing this.

I was pushing for more radical CCG-like styling when you showed off the concept, but this works really well. The head is excellent, and I love those circular vents on the back that make me think of insect wing joints. The large laser gets a little lost but I don’t know what else I’d do with a belly button weapon.

Impressive amount of small details. Question on what's the thought process on the holes in the shoulder pads? If there is still more detail going in there it's fine, but looks odd just empty holes.

I love it! I've never really been satisfied with how lanky this brick of armor has always been portrayed, so glad to see it bulked up a bit!

Pretty tasty. I wish the large laser had more of a barrel, but since it never did, I'm not surprised that it doesn't. Thanks for the back shot!

Also love that a socket for an antenna has been added to the head for anyone who wants to add one themselves

How can you not like that? It ticks all the boxes it looks to be a little light for a heavy and the head vaguely resembles a grasshoppers.

I so love the work on this one. Been a fan of the Hopper since early days (Heir to the Dragon) and you've absolutely nailed it.
