One day you will hopefully get to see YuYu Hakusho which came out all the way back in 1992, and then you would see how these aspects go back even further. Other older shows as well. Regardless of where you start with anime no matter which direction you go you're just expanding your understanding more and more. Don't stress about order

2026-02-25 05:08:13 +0000 UTCIdk if people hate this show because it’s part of the big 3 that means it’s renowned for being in people’s top 3 most times but it feels that way because it isn’t loved to the extent of how one piece and Naruto, personally it’s above Naruto but not one piece for me but you know how one piece and Naruto fan bases are, it’s amazing but the constant comparisons with the other two just makes people push it down but no doubt its an amazing show, personally I think u guys will love this the most out of the big three just a feeling (except jack and McKay of course) because it doesn’t have that bad of tropes the story is pretty good and the aesthetic is more ur type. Bleach is loved but it doesn’t get expressed because it’s not most people’s top 1.

Ichigo might not always be on the list of best protagonists but many characters from this show make it on rankings. The music in this show is top tier. I think people want to watch shows where they can complain about something, be it the pacing, or the power scaling, but bleach doesn't really have issues like that everything is well explained..... sure there are memes but they aren't things that make you wanna stop watching. The show is well respected even if it doesn't get the hype other shows get. This show is untouchable. Even haters have to think really hard to find something wrong with the show or they didn't watch it at all. Also idk who y'all are talking to but this show gets hyped all the time for me. like i said in another comment for the poc anime community this show is revered. This is our show.

Dad of the century also Daddy of a lifetime. edit: The show hasn't been airing for 20 years they brought it back to finally finish it. This happened a lot with older anime. Even Inuyasha they had to bring it back to finish it. TYBA didn't start till around post pandemic times. the original show stopped airing before AOT started. on another note, only the super long fillers are skip worthy however.... if you like the humor i personally love the short 1-2 episode fillers, but i can understand when you just want to finish the arc skipping them. I think they're hilarious though.

2026-02-25 03:23:24 +0000 UTCthe main problem with bleach was the release pacing and the fact the anime was often catchign up to the manga, I even like a lot of the filler in the anime. but there are mid season filler episodes and mini arcs that interrupt some fo the best Arcs simply because release pacing for anime and maga are both weekly. i think you should watch the filler arcs, but skip the miniarcs and filler episodes.

2026-02-25 03:02:12 +0000 UTCCannons statement about bleach not being gory is only true for the anime. Studio Perriot censored a lot of scenes from the manga so if y'all are ever curious to what some scenes might look like uncensored in the manga I highly recommend looking at them.
