He definitely has that same character arc as Geto pre and post amanai. Also remember that episode when fake Geto used idle transfiguration and talked about making pacts with older sorcerers so that they come back to life

With the way these things usually go, I’d guess we won’t get part 2 until at least Q4 of this year. So yeah, only 6 episodes left of this season unfortunately.
