They'll start explaining more about how his power works over the next few episodes, but that red energy that enveloped the plunger was a signal that something changed about what he was holding, similar to Enjin's umbrella Umbreaker changed in appearance once he axtivated his yellow energy.

There’s nothing wrong with it though. Anyways I’m usually team sub but Gachikuta has a good dub, so you can’t go wrong 🤷♀️ They should stick to sub if it’s what they prefer though.
