2025-12-21 06:56:31 +0000 UTCAfter rewatching, I can confirm my rating for this movie hasn't changed, it's still a 10. There's nothing they could have done even better to me. Animation, music, pacing, everything was perfect. This movie has moved me deeply, I would now consider it one of my favorites. It's obvious how much love has been put in this.

2025-12-10 11:34:23 +0000 UTCthe way you rate movie vs show differently is odd but 8.5 is wild, what could have been better? not saying it had to be a 10 and nothing could ever make it better but 8.5 is criminal for what is the best animation and camera work ive ever witnessed or heard of in anime (from start to finish). I agree its not the deepest plot of all time but that shouldnt matter much, if at all, when the execution is this good. Same logic as to why Chernobyl is pretty commonly rated as perfect or almost perfect, you cant do what it did any better, a masterclass in execution.

I cant get over how fluid and beautiful the ENTIRE movie is, not just the climax, but everything in between is just too good. Mappa honestly the goats
