The trick to figuring out if a number is divisible by 3 is just adding the numbers together. For 57, 5+7=12, 1+2=3. If the total is 3,6 or 9, it’s always divisible by 3.

2025-11-16 13:41:16 +0000 UTCI still think the jjk event has the same premiss. Its an event to introduce a lot of new characters and show their abilities. Even tho its not the same thing, it still serves the same purpose in the show. We get to see how strong the main cast is compared to the rest of the world. We also get a look into how the worlds power system actually works. In frieren its this exam, jjk has the exchange event, in HxH its the Heavens arena, in MHA it the entrance exam and UA sports festival, demon slayer has the final selection to become a demon slayer. The list goes on and on. Almost all Shonen have this because it a good way to introduce new characters and show how everybody scales to eachother. I always like this part of the show because i like to power scale and theorize about who is stronger and how far apart characters are in strength. I can see how this can become boring tho since its done every single time in fighting anime.

People might know Himmel by name, but asking someone who the priest, mage, or warrior in that party was would be like asking anyone today (who isn't a history buff) what famous generals won decisive battles in WWII.

Audie Murphy was one of the most famous soldiers of the entire Second World War, a Medal of Honor Recipient with a crazy story behind it who also became a well known actor after the war. Literally one of the most famous Americans of the 20th Century and arguably America's greatest war hero and I bet most kids on a college campus wouldn't know he is. People fade into obscurity a lot faster than you would think. Even more so when the person in question is a reclusive elf who isn't leaving statues everywhere in her wake like Himmel, lol.

From what I understand a sonic boom is sound catching up with movement. Think of it like thunder and lightning; thunder is the sonic boom lightning is the movement. You see it before you hear it. At least I think that is what Cannon is meaning when he says he doesn't understand what a sonic boom is. Now there is a much more scientific explanation but I'm not the one to give it.

Probably not. We also don’t know, or at least I can’t remember it being said, how mana works relative to energy. Can you just not use magic, or do you get twice as tired if you run out? I like the power system in this anime for this exact reason, it’s very grounded and allows for actual variance when it comes to skill and battle outcomes.

How the fuck would a mage proctor not have heard about THE Frieren? Elves are super rare as is and surely they’ve at least heard the name on top of most probably having come across a statue or drawing of her during a point in their lives. I’d get young mages not giving a fuck about an old hero like Frieren, but come on the Procotors themselves?

Yes she is an extremely powerful mage, especially in combat, but she isn't a Jane Doe character that can solve every problem with ease. Throughout the show you guys were wondering if she could just use her magic to solve a problem, but she doesn't. Freiren is very nonchalant but I don't think she has held back once in the show.

2025-11-15 21:20:05 +0000 UTCI like how this arc is opening up the viewers to what mages are like outside of frieren and fern, but also opening up frieren to types of people or personalities she may or may not be familiar with. Up until now ever since frieren came back 50 years after they defeated the demon king, she’s only ever had noteworthy interactions with her original party members or people similar to them. Fern and stark are obvious, but Kraft is similar to herself and heiter, sein is similar to herself, and there are probably other examples. Itll be interesting to see if she can learn something from people who might be completely different from herself.
