If they do end up watching K-dramas again, I recommend: Romance Category: Twinkling Watermelon (16 episodes), Crash Landing on You (16 episodes), Business Proposal (12 episodes), and Twenty-five, Twenty-one (16 episodes). Slice of Life: Move to Heaven (8 episodes), When Life Gives You Tangerines (16 episodes). Crime: As You Stood By (8 episodes), Strangers from Hell ( 10 episodes), My Name (8 episodes). These are a few that I recommend, but all the recommendations from other commentators are really top-tier as well.

I just finished “See You in My 19th life” and I’m a wreckkk😭 Does anyone have more recommendations. I really don’t but do mind crying but I do love my k-dramas with romance on it. I’ve watched Twinkling Watermelon, CLOY, BS, 2521, Destined to You, Move to Heaven and so many more. I however refuse to watch Hi, Bye Mama!, The Good Bad Mother, Snowdrop and Youth of May (I am the biggest tearjerker). it's not boring at all????? The show is super funny and it's super engaging. I watched CLOY when it first came out not because of tiktok and when I watched it the actors weren't even married. It's the one k-drama most of my normie friends have watched and loved. Reducing the show to those two things is such a disservice, it might not be for you but the show is loved because of many things, not because of what you mentioned. It might not have been for you, but it's a favorite for many people for a reason. It's also my most rewatched kdrama, and it's the one show that got my parents hooked on korean media in general.

Season 2 is meant to release late 2025 or early 2026. I love them two, I think they have one of the best chemistry in all of TV. Dohwan and Sangyi both are very handsome, but I find Dohwan (Geonwoo) the most attractive because he has softer features, both are phenomenal actors though. I think y'all should do Crash Landing On You (CLOY) because it's funny, it's sweet, it has some drama, and it's super super engaging. The cast is amazing and it's seriously so funny, the story is fantastic as well. I think y'all would enjoy it so much.

Omg this was such a great show!! I’m so glad I watched it. I cried so much in episode 6, that was brutal 😭 To answer your question, I prefer gun woo more, he’s absolutely gorgeous and tbh he’s even better in his other shows. Don’t get me wrong I love woo jin as well, but gun woo 😍👌 (I should have watched this sooner considering I’ve seen most dramas that gun woo has been in 😅) I don’t watch violent, gory, serious/dark Korean dramas (mainly romance only). So, I watched Weak Hero, The Glory, and Bloodhounds for the first time with you guys. And man I am so glad I did. I have been missing out on some truly peak shows (but I am glad I watched it alongside you guys as I could never watch it by myself 😭😅) You HAVE to watch Twinkling Watermelon next!!! It’s a great show (one of my favourites) and I know you guys will love it (it doesn’t hurt that Baku and suho are in it). Some people are saying that you might watch Business Proposal next, but definitely DO NOT watch it. I feel like it would be too sudden to watch something like that. It is a rom com, but it’s a very cringey, corny, cheesy show (I loved the show but I enjoy those types of series anyways). Also, I DO NOT recommend Attorney Woo either. It’s a cute, nice show and I liked it at first, but at some point I found it repetitive and slightly boring so I stopped watching it. I feel like a nice show to bring you into the romance genre would be Crash Landing on You. It has romance, action/fighting scenes, it’s funny, has the ‘found family’ trope and I can see it being more your vibe. Another show I 100% recommend is Alchemy of Souls. It’s one of the best Korean dramas I ever watched!! It’s peak!! It has everything you would love in it. Great romance, great fighting, great plot, it’s visually stunning. (This is on Netflix as well as crash landing on you) So, basically PLEASE REACT to Twinkling Watermelon, and if not that then Crash Landing on You, or Alchemy of Souls. As much as I love When Life Gives You Tangerines, I wouldn’t recommend it right now since it’s also a heavy-themed K-drama. I thought we all agreed that our next one should be something lighter and from a different genre. We’ve already had enough action and heartbreak — let the Geks breathe a little! I'll be honest, I thought Da-eun was annoying at first and just kind of an extra pointless character in the beginning. She complained so much and was uptight about all her personal belongings being messed with. With that being said, I was glad to be proven wrong once I saw and realized how goated she was and also how caring and loyal she is to her family and friends. She fights with them in the battle not afraid of bloodshed. Her archery skills are next level! Wow. She's such an adorable baddie. I'm amazed by her. And I love her and Mr. Oh. They both make a great strong duo. I'm thankful they can be strong allies to Gun-woo and Woo-jin and be there for them when they need it the most. Aww I hope they return for season 2. I guess we'll have to see, though :)

Seeing Beom get totally served by Gun-woo and Woo-jin was insane but well worth it. It's about time someone take down the rhino. His iron of steel finally wore off. Through holding on to the heart of a boxer, my goats were triumpant. But damn my boys were going through both my boxer boys and my gek boys. This last episode put my emotions into overdrive. Hi everyone! Sorry I'm late. I just got home. I went antiquing with my folks out of town. But I'm super excited to watch this epic season finale of one of my favorite shows. It's been amazing and really fun rewatching Bloodhounds with my beloved geks. You all mean a lot to me. Even after a 4th time, it still feels fresh and exciting. This show is crazy good even with all its gut wenching and heart breaking moments!! The acting is top notch. I'm going to miss sweet and caring Gun-woo and lively and funny Woo-jin. They hold a special place in my heart. And revenge stories can get bleak, dark, and depressing but the writers do the plot so freaking well!!! You can't look away. It keeps you intrigued... But with all that being said, I'm all for a happy wholesome romance k-drama next. You guys deserve it after the heavy hitters we've continually put you on. I still say Crash Landing On You!!! It's a beautiful, emotional, and captivating story with lovable characters who you'll get easily attached to you with all their quirkiness and endless charm. And plus you'll see a familar face. I also don’t know if it needed a second season, but i’ll probably tune in anyway since the first one was solid. And to answer Carter’s question, making us choose between these two baddies is honestly cruel. But if i’m being real...Gunwoo’s actor might just be one of the finest men to ever exist. Just to clear this up one last time for the finale; Hyeon-ju’s actress was written out because of her DUI incident, which forced the team to rewrite the last two episodes. Originally she was supposed to stay a main character throughout, which is why her story may seem a little unfinished.

Loved rewatching this with everyone. My suggestions: * Vincenzo!!!! - It follows a Korean-Italian mafia lawyer who uses ruthless tactics to bring justice to corrupt elites. It VERY funny, emotional, has some romance, dark. It's a masterpiece in my eyes. It's a longer series than most, so it is a commitment. BUT I've also watched it 10 times, so what can I say... *Moving (I think yall would LOVE) - Its a supernatural action filed drama. But has a deeper meaning. At the core it's a story about the love between parents and their children, and what they would do to protect them. Some just also happen to have supernatural powers and have to fight black op government agencies... its got a little romance as well. Very well-done series! *Its Okay to Not Be Okay - I think this is a good romance drama but also has such a deeper concept. It deals with mental health, trauma, healing, and love in a really raw way. It was a beautiful show. Everyone did such an amazing job at their roles in this show. *Business Proposal- This is a true rom-com in my opinion. its light, romantic, comedic and full of classic K-drama moments. I don't watch many romcom, but this is great! AND the main actor voices Jinu in Kpop Demon Hunters. Thanks for what yall do! This is fun!

As someone who has a few years experience watching kdramas, here are some great ones to really switch it up: When Life Gives You Tangerines – came out this year and it’s already one of the highest rated of all time. Super real, emotional, and beautifully written family story. Twinkling Watermelon – sounds goofy at first, but it’s actually a really moving story about music, friendship, and growing up. Romantic, funny and heartfelt. Crash Landing on You – the drama that hooked so many people on kdramas. Unique premise, great romance, and fun. Mouse – dark and gripping mystery/thriller. Incredibly written, highly acclaimed, and still a different genre you guys might love. Moving – mix of superpowers, action, family, and comedy. Emotional but also very gritty, with amazing fight scenes. Death’s Game – short but super impactful. This one is very dark but it has a lot of meaning behind it. Insanely expensive cast. Move to Heaven – touching family story that’s not over the top but still emotional and really stays with you. A few of these are more sad than others, but none are stupidly upsetting. It’s a good blend. Some are constant fun, while the serious ones still have W’s. They all have romance, but especially the first three.

another great show!! i watched this for the first time with you guys and it was FUN! 'extraordinary woo' and 'Moving' both are great shows if you want a light hearted ones. 'my name' and 'death's game' is more of a darker genre but very very good dramas 'it's ok not to be ok' blends romance, drama and comedy but i really don't want it to be CLOY :(

before the announcement of season 2 i thought this would be a definitive end because we didn't get any news about another season for so long so i wished they did more for the finale like maybe a time skip where gun-woo and woo-jin open up a gym and start boxing again, mom opening a new cafe and also the building of the hospital!! it just felt kinda incomplete. but yeah im glad we're getting s2 and am very curious what they're gonna do with the story🔥

When Life Gives You Tangerines 🍊 Romance, slice of life, reflecting on wanting to grow up too fast and then getting there and realizing true beauty and joy was actually when you were a child, trying to be a better parent than you’re own and then realizing that it’s your parents first time at life as well. It’s about how whether your life ends up simple or grand, it can still be full just in its own way. I watched it with my mom and it was the most surreal experience as so many scenes had her reflecting on her own life and I got to see someone I’ve rarely seen, the girl my mother was before she became my mom. Even if you guys don’t watch it this time around, I hope you do at some point, even privately, it’s just that amazing. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk haha
