I follow many creators on patreon and some of them might not post for weeks and they could be charging more. Some of you are very ungrateful, that you forget they are people with their own lives too!!! I'm also anticipating and wanting more drops but be for real and let them post whenever they want and can. The way Carter is seeing the situation genuinely makes the most sense to me. It could have been better, sure, but it Definitely could have been worse, and the small victories that were made during the battle are worth a lot more than people think and should always be the focus when times look the worst. Dubs are dubs, you just gotta take the good bits you can find and keep moving forward yo - do better next time, use what you still have to win. Even if everything looks horrible, as long as one person keeps fighting, there's still a chance y'know? It's the All Might mindset imo

I'm not sure if I can make that comparison anymore because this stuff is more nuanced, but it's still an interesting viewpoint.

Jokes aside the show is so good with the Todoroki family dynamic. The kids being shocked at seeing their dad weeping, Endeavor realizing that his guilt came too late to change anything, Natsu not even being able to look at Endeavor because even though he doesnt like his father he cant bear see him weak and crying, its all so good.

The way his father was his abuser, his mother never jumping in to protect him and to add insult she basically sold him. After all that, he never held anything against his mother & instead blamed himself that he couldn’t save her, just like with Twice. Then there’s his relationship with Endeavor who is his hero, the Todoroki family situation having similarities to his families dynamic is a shock but he didn’t falter in his beliefs. Hawks has many layers and yet he is just thinking about a brighter future

Even after realizing that Endeavor was similar in this way to his own father, Hawks still decides to stand by him and believe him when most people in the country are turning their back on him.

They captured tens of thousands of villains, including some of the top people like Redestro and Geten. 3. They killed Twice, who might just be the most dangerous league villain after Shigaraki. 4. They also captured Garaki, the doctor, so the villains can not produce more quirks or Nomus. 5. They did not let Shigaraki reach 100% and managed to delay it by a lot. Sure, there are huge losses, but let's not act like they did not achieve the majority of the things they set out to do.
