She’s literally obsessed with it, and it makes total sense—money’s always been her way of feeling safe. Her whole life kinda revolved around it. From trying to free her village to just… growing up poor. What really hit me was how she was willing to give up everything she had for Keimi. Like, she had just met her that day. And Keimi’s also friends with Hachi—someone who caused Nami so much pain. But still, she didn’t care at all. The saddest part for me is that Nami’s adoptive mom died just because they didn’t have enough money to save her. I can’t even imagine how it felt for Nami to be in that same situation again with Keimi—like, not being able to “buy” someone’s freedom. That’s just… heartbreaking.”

I loved your reactions so much and hated waiting a month for the next video that for the first time ever watching an OP reaction I joined a Patreon. So while the upload timing definitely will get you less views on YouTube it will get a few people like me to join the Patreon.

More specifically, in the manga he said he didn’t want to be their “dog,” which implies he’s talking about celestial dragons, which is why he stayed at Vice Admiral rank despite being strong enough to go higher

The earlier arcs give us the perspective to fully appreciate what’s happening now: - Thanks to Nami's arc, we understand how terrifying fishmen can be in raw power, so seeing them as the oppressed creates a strong juxtaposition (esp when some of them perpetuate the same cycle of hatred against humans). - We grasp the corruption of the Celestial Dragons more deeply, because even the strongest people we’ve already established as monsters (ex. Admirals, Warlords) still bend to their authority. - We know how big of a deal it is to summon an admiral, because back in W7, Aokiji casually no-diffed the crew. - And someone like Rayleigh hits even harder because we’ve seen how strong Luffy had to become to beat CP9 and clash with Warlords. If he’s 100x as strong, then how much of a monster must Roger’s right-hand man be, even in his late 70s? That naturally makes us wonder about people like Shanks, Whitebeard, Garp, Roger, Dragon, and how terrifying their power must be. It's not really about one arc being "better" than another. W7/EL were a climax for the crew's story (their bonds, their growth, their ability to take on the world for a friend), while Sabaody feels like the climax for the worldbuilding. The story basically zooms out and shows us just how massive and terrifying the OP world really is. And thematically it all builds on what we've seen before: oppression (Arlong Park/Skypia), corrupt power structure (Alabasta), absolute justice (W7/EL). Sabaody ties all those things together not only on the island, but a global scale (like Kid said here). Each island and fight builds the necessary foundation for the next "peak" in my opinion.

Because we mostly see him using his devil fruit, but he makes sure to let us know we can still get faded devil fruit or not, like that punch scene with Bellamy in Skypeia 😂 One thing I love about Luffy is that he never gives a damn, he will speak his mind to anyone or punch not caring about your title. Obviously the mid arcs will not get as many views, but separating the PEAK moments into their own upload would be easier for everyone. It also incentivizes subscribing to the Patreon as Youtube watchers will be even more behind. Even with low viewership on the mid episode batches, it helps maintain that core stability and is easier on the algorithm.
