OMG I'VE JUST FINISHED THE MOVIE AND IM HAVING A BREAKDOWN. I CANT WAIT TO WATCH THEIR REACTIONS OMG. I was watching it and thinking of people who said it was their fave movie and I didnt understand, I thought meh, its ok. Until the part which im sure is what everyone is waiting for. Had me sobbing the like a baby, screaming at my tv. Soundtrack and animation 10/10. Still crying 20 minutes later 🤣

There is a Christmas episode that is sort of filler. It's a shame that Monoma couldn't copy Eri's quirk. I hope they figure out a way to help her train and control her powers. I want her to heal Lemillion as well. It's hard to belive in a few seasons this show will be over. I don't want it to end!

"Was there something that triggered it?" "No, not at all..." – Now that is a big fat lie if I ever saw one. It's pretty clear the reason Blackwhip was triggered was not only because the "time is ripe". The previous wielder of One For All who held Blackwhip said to Izuku in the last episode: "If you use your power in anger, it will react to that." Blackwhip manifested as a response to Izuku's fury towards Monoma (Class B student with the copy quirk), because he was talking about how shameless Katsuki is despite "ending the era of the Symbol of Peace" (basically mocking him). Monoma KNEW that it would piss Izuku off if he insulted his childhood friend. He alludes to doing this during his one-on-one time with Shinso before the match officially started, when he talks about how both of them are similar by implying indirectly that they have to use underhanded/"unheroic" tactics (like insulting strategically to hit a sore spot) in order to be effective heroes. Because that's how their quirks work. By directly targeting Izuku's weak spot – aka his protectiveness over his friends, which he discerned from getting Shinso's answer about how he got Izuku to talk to brainwash him during the Sports Festival – he wanted to get him to falter during the match or talk (maybe with the intention to brainwash him with Shinso's quirk). Izuku obviously didn't fall for it this time by answering Monoma so he didn't get brainwashed, but he DID get upset and we can see that visibly from his expression in Ep 10. When his anger hit a certain threshold, it most likely reached and dug into the dormant, not-yet-released power of One For All. And because his primary thought during his state of heightened anger was to "capture Monoma", Blackwhip was the quirk that responded first and manifested in real life (because it was the most suitable quirk to answer the call of One For All's owner). All this to say, Izuku does tell All Might and Katsuki that One For All reacts to his emotions, but he never says exactly why his emotions got so out of hand in the first place, enough for Blackwhip to manifest in the middle of the fight. I imagine he doesn't tell them it's because he got mad on Katsuki's behalf because Katsuki would probably blast him to hell and back, but who knows.

I think you's underestimate how much of the show you's have left, you's still have 60 episodes left even without season 8 which I assume will be another 24~ episodes or maybe even more depending on how much of the manga is left, so you's nearly have like the entirety of AOT left to watch, it is sad that the end is in sight at all though, this has been one of my favourite series on the channel and I'm gonna hate to see it go... BUT instead of mourning the eventual loss I'm just waiting for all the peak that's coming cause there's a LOT of it.

So far, MHA season 5 isn't a slog to watch, but it's kinda a slog to rewatch as a reaction. Thank God your guys reactions is so lively, because it has been dragging since mid-season 4, if i'm being perfectly honest. So much of the show is ' here is this characters powers, watch it in action! ', then it's like an episode of Todoroki and Lida showing out, but ultimately losing anyway to some people that just aren't relevant. I'm very very excited to watch the movies and upcoming seasons with ya'll. I have my fair share of criticisms with upcoming seasons, but there is absolutely no denying the hype moments, the payoffs, and the excitement of everything that goes on.

To see the movie I hope. It takes place chronologically between episodes 12 and 13 of this season so I hope it's the next one. It's crazy tho that when it released in December 2019 it was around the same week Lemillion vs Overhaul was airing for the first time. Imagine going from the end of the Overhaul arc to where you are now whithout seeing anything in between, that's how it felt to those that went to watch it ASAP.
