Fantasizing about killing a serial killer who murdered your father and has tormented you for years with letters describing everything in detail — that’s not so crazy. To me, it’s completely justified thoughts. He can still be a nice guy with the girl he likes while being a menace to the people who made her life insufferable. Him being similar to her in some way and battling trauma differently was a fresh take and he got more interesting because of it. But not gonna lie, I really liked chemistry between Moon and Husband, even though I don't see this couple ever working. Moon thought Myeongho dying ruined her plan to get a confession, but then thought maybe him missing because of Yeonjin is a different more intriguing kinda confession.

The moment where he fantasizes about killing his father’s murderer is definitely dark, and the revenge conversation was unsettling, but it’s not because there’s some hidden evil inside him. It’s more that he’s been tormented for years by those graphic letters, being forced to relive his father’s brutal death in disturbing detail over and over. Of course murder always being on his mind is going to mess with his head. So when he says he wants to be Dong-eun’s executioner, I don’t think he’s claiming to willingly turn into a serial killer or anything lol. It’s more that he’s willing to help her see her plan through because he loves her and understands the pain she carries. He still has that golden retriever core, this is just the first time we’re really seeing how heavy his pain runs underneath it all.

It makes sense why she would still be holding on to that trauma after all these years. Poor thing still has still that vulnerable side and lets it come to the surface. Because even if she acts savage and brave most of the time, she still carries with her all the pain and emotional scars. That kind of hell, I'm not sure if you ever completely get over. It would take a long while after the endless torture, violence, abuse, abd taunting from her tormentors never feeling safe or worth anything. It breaks my heart to see those flashbacks. However I know it plays a significant role in the story.

He's still the sweet dorky and quirky guy but also has some darkness and anger in his mind and heart from his Father's death which is understandable. I can only imagine how unsettling that feels everyday and those letters are just the added salt to sprinkle on his wounds... There's a lot of unresolved trauma that still remains. Damn I forgot how creepy that prison scene was Eeek.... It made my skin crawl. That actor is an ace at playing such a vile character. Those beady eyes... nightmare fuel. But anyway, our boy is still a golden retriever by heart. I love how there's two sides to him. He's like a coin. It certainly keeps things interesting and adds more to the plot. Trust the process, fellas. It'll be okay. Can't wait for episode 9! The second half of the show really blew it out of the park for me. I'm really looking forward to seeing your reactions. I can imagine he’s constantly plagued with the grief of losing his father—on top of that, the killer is alive and well in prison, unremorseful of his crime and haunting yeo jeong with evil letters.
