Idk if we're getting that happy ending you want Carter... I think the last time I was this shocked while watching anime was when I watched Oshi No Ko which was over 2 years ago and I've watched a lot in those 2 years so this tops a lot of stuff.

I’ve seen so many people online blaming the kids, when in reality they’re just reacting to the environments they were raised in. Despite all awful flaws, in the end Marina and Shizuku are just kids who were never given the guidance or love they needed.

As someone who lost a few people to suicide in the last five years including my grandfather I understand why someone would go the direction the girl did. I was in the same situation twice myself. My father saved me by getting me my best friend Fritz whose three years old now. Without my german shepard and finally talking to someone about it I wouldn't be here.
