It also shines in it's own way imo but understandably not everyone's favourite :)

The only real difference is where they are in their journeys. One had years to master his quirk, while the other is just getting started. Deku’s further ahead in his first year of high school than Lemillion was in his. I think people forget this because we meet Lemillion at his peak, a level Deku is still working toward. I’m glad you guys agree he’s in a good spot, but continue to trust the journey!

The show can’t be constant chaos or else the big moments wouldn’t feel the same yk? If you like slice-of-life stuff there’s a lot to enjoy. I think it gets underrated for what it brings to the pacing and characters.

Last summer the Milkshake truck was doing free milkshakes near my work and during lunch my friend and I waited in line for one and all of a sudden a bunch of kids show up and try to cut the line because they knew the girl in line ahead of us. I was pissed because we'd already waited a half hour and I told them the line started back there and some got an attitude but went to the back of the line, but others still cut. The woman who owns the truck had to tell them they couldn't just cut the line which I appreciated.

It's always great to see the gradual but steady scale up of our MC's power level. The start being slow is the most realistic part of Izuku's training. Because it's only been less than a year since he entered high school. It's already impressive how much he's improved!

2025-07-22 08:05:14 +0000 UTCThis is definitely the most filler feeling arc in the whole show imo, I don't mind it though since I liked Jiro before this arc and it kinda puts her in the spotlight and I'm never one to hate on slice of life arcs, I mean one of my top 3 anime is literally a romance slice of life, but yeah Jack put it pretty well, it kinda feels like it's here to just let some time pass for things to happen in the background like letting the villains do some behind the scenes stuff, it's also just another one of those arcs that makes you like Class 1-A more and it's nice seeing Eri slowly coming out of her shell.

It's a big breather that sets up some of the relationships for future development, and also offers a different, more wholesome change of pace from the usual boom boom boom fights. It's refreshing in a sense. And I'm sure you'll enjoy the fun and maybe hate the antagonist (like I did JHBHEBQJBw) quite a bit. Enjoy yourselves Geks!!

By this moment on my first watch Horikoshi's writing had gained my trust, and IMO it didn't fail. Do we miss active-hero All Might? ALWAYS. Also, and like many others have posted, stop being freaking hindsight merchants and let the geks be surprised by new characters and character arcs without going "oh iz my goat oh you will love it youll zee".

Gentle Criminal and La Brava are both very likeable villain characters in my opinion but man we are so close to THE episode of the season, one of the most hype episodes in the whole series. Also my favs are almost here….Can’t wait till next week
