Those are Eldians who are related to a titan, or are one themselves. They get special privileges, and arent treated as poorly. They are also borderline brainwashed into thinking their own people are devils. Its a really messed up system. Season 4 is crazy too, im glad the girls are enjoying it.

2025-04-22 21:14:48 +0000 UTCBest Lore drop ever. Even after that many rewatches I get goosebumps hearing Grisha's story, hearing Eren Kruger explain everything to him. Very tragic characters. I also loved the line of Eren Kruger saying he still looks at the world through crack in the closet, similar to how he saw his whole family getting burned alive and not being able to do anything. Knowing that all Pure titans outside of the wall are just fellow Eldians being punished is also the reason why Rod and Uri's dad and then Uri and then Frieda never killed the titans and never "freed" the humanity. They know titans are not a threat if they are within the walls, there is a whole world threating them outside of the island. And even if they all get killed, first King's will stands, to accept their fate.

If you guys can tell us ahead of time how many episodes you're watching that'd be great! Definitely some good reveals. There was some stuff I had figured out, but still some surprises. I figured the basement reveal wouldn't be that exciting, but it was informative. So I know there is the Beast Titan, the jaw titan, the female titan, the duck titan, the armored titan, the colossal titan, and the founding titan, and the attack titan. But what's the ninth then? I am I missing one or is it yet to be revealed? I'm excited to watch the last episode of this season and then start the next season.

He was scared the military would force Historia into a Titan. Also, there were a lot of hints of an outside world similar to our own: - Annie calling the beast Titan a monkey, and Eren says "What? Monkey?" but in a confused manner. It's more clear in the manga as Ymir says "猿" which is Monkey, but when Eren repeats it, it's written as "さる" which is just the katakana of monkey, which shows that Eren is just sounding out the word without knowing the meaning, implying that there's no such thing as monkeys within the walls. As Eren has never seen or heard of one before. - The coffee - The Beast Titan was obviously a sports fan, he had perfect shotput form, and kept using baseball references like "Perfect Game" - Annie and her real life Martial Arts, and grappling. and a bunch of others

Yes, the natural resources on Paradis Island was one of the reasons. The second and more important reason is that the power of the Nine Titans is not as impactful as it use to be. It's stated that the current breakthroughs in technology and weapons has shortened the gap between other countries and Marley, who use to possess 7 of the 9 titans. However, the advancements in technology and weaponry is still no match against the full power of the Founding Titan.

Please don't take anything I say the wrong way, because I think the guys can sense that the show lost the girls a little bit in the middle of episode 20, as it went in a direction that they did not expect at all. I feel like you guys might've over-explained a teeny tiny bit, which takes away a little bit of the magic of piecing everything together on their own. It would have been better to listen to their thoughts and address any questions that naturally arose. However, I don't want to speak for any of our newcomers if they aren't at all bothered by the clarifications. I feel like it was intended for your first viewing of 20/21 to be extremely overwhelming, and it's perfectly okay if you only understand 50-75% of it. Season 4 does a fantastic job of slowly building on the remaining 50-25%. It's natural to want others to appreciate the story to the same extent that you do. Still, I think part of admiring and respecting it is simply letting it shimmer naturally for first-time viewers and being extremely open-minded to any different opinions they might have.

Not only was humanity basically the modern world outside the walls, but they left the people to suffer inside the walls, branding them as devils. They lived in constant fear of the titans, not understanding how small their world really. I know the history plays a role in how things ended up this way, but the reveal came as such a shock - I couldn't help but feel that way.

At the end of the day I’m here for you guys not to just rewatch the show, your reactions and takes are the juice I’m here for 😁 14 minutes post talk for 3 intense episodes just leaves me wanting more in a good way. That’s the price of 3 episode batches I suppose
