And as you guys pointed out (including Brig’s story of how he started watching NBA), we sometimes chase a goal or a dream because it’s the shiny thing that everyone else around you would want or approve of. I had peers that went to medical school because they excelled at studying and chased after the goal of ‘wanting to be a doctor’ without being fully prepared for the life of working as a doctor. And it’s great that Cannon discovered he didn’t want to go into dentistry during shadowing. Thank you for the great react to the episode and being so open about your thoughts and experiences! Would love to hear from Jack and McKay too (if they feel comfortable sharing)! Looking forward to the rest of the season! Have fun, Geks! 2025-04-01 18:10:48 +0000 UTCYou have to keep in mind that Mob's line in Season 2 saying: "I've always known from the beginning" was him saying that he was a genuinely good guy (the media was treating him like a bad person even tho he still worked hard to solve his customer's problems despite him lying and manipulating) and not him saying that he knew he didnt have any powers. At least for Reigen, he doesnt believe Mob knows, so it still makes sense for him to keep the act.
