RIP

only got time to finish this eps reaction now pffft anyways you guys get it. Jane and Jessie deserve better i want that for them. Walter always makes the selfish choice. ego leads every decision he makes. the tone of the show is changed moving forward. "we are now levelling up!" (robot girl voice)

aqualuvrgirl

im sorry but this episode for me confirmed that walt was too far beyond redemption. He didnt show up for skler AGAIN like when she said I wished you had been here, that broke my heart fr. missed the birth of his daughter, and then the jane scene??? he is so so so f*cked like this stuck with me for so long, he basicalled k*lled her bro im sorry i cant i cant i cant

aqualuvrgirl

Walt's "nice job wearing the pants" is a call back to when Jesse told him the same thing after Skyler visited his house in season 1. Vince said if he could change anything about the show it would be Jesse' white teeth.

Justin

Ofc, a lil sympathy ain’t ever hurt no one tho, right? It’s what differentiates us from robots 💀 You could also say, if it was real life she would’ve never even met Walt and Jesse in the first place, and still been a sober landlord, cuz they would’ve been dead s1. But this is a TV show, with plot armor, and it’s showing us Walt is at fault… for pretty much everything that takes place.

Icchi

Yes I will continue for sure.

Sasha

Keep watching!! You won’t be disappointed

Sarah Wevers

Yes it does, stop enabling the behavior it makes it more acceptable. Junkies should be ostracized and ridiculed as losers.

CHIEF

We all make decisions in this life. She wasn't entitled to others perpetually bailing her out of her mistakes, and eventually they caught up to her. You can certainly feel sympathy, but in the end her decisions were her own and Walt could've just as easily not been there and she'd be dead all the same if this weren't a TV show

CHIEF

I'm on my 6th watch of AoT. Watching peak this many times is not insane!!!!

Conk

Well for some of us if we had continued with the support instead of kicking them out we would be dead.

Vanesa

They agree because they either believe in the change or have personally witnessed it. I can attest to this firsthand. I’ve been clean from drugs for about five years now, and it all began because my friends supported me. If they had “kicked me to the curb”, I would have no doubt be dead right now.

Riley

yes it’s their journey and not yours yes. but to say you need to kick them to the curb is insane. they are humans and benefit from support like anybody else. that doesn’t mean you need to be responsible for them but you still have he moral responsibility to treat them like a normal human

Riley

You don’t realize how much of an asshole Walt always has been until later on or on rewatch There was always a darkness and arrogance there, normal life had just beaten him down by the time of the start of the show. Remember none of this show and all of the tragic shit to come later on would have happened if he actually only mainly cared about taking care of his family and accepted the offer from Grey Matter.

NMP

Not u bro

Ron Jackson Jr

Aight bro

NMP

I'm with Vanessa to the extent that absolutely nobody is or will be part of my inner circle that is a drug addict. As Gus said, you can't trust them. Godspeed to them on their attempts to turn their ship around, but that is their process, not mine. They make their choices and I make mine.

Dónde está la biblioteca

reminds me about the dad on IG who keeps posting his dead daughters videos and arguing in the comments section with randoms.

Anthony Chavez

6th time watching is insane. Even me who I thought was insane has only watched a show for 4 times at most.

Sasha

My face was like this for a minute😲 also even though I really hate the theme that's been in these last two episodes I really start to like this show. For me usually when a show does some really depressing stuff I just want to turn it off but this is not like that. Maybe I'm also being protected a little by watching this with Studio Gek. I have no idea where this show is headed but I'm starting to get excited for it. Though I saw quite a big spoiler for one of the characters but I'll deal with it.

Sasha

Couldn’t agree more, she is a victim. She hasn’t reacted unreasonably or over the top to anything thus far, and even if she did it would be more than understandable at this point

Frosty

Thank you!!! 🤍

Emily P

Congrats!

McKay Carter

I just gave birth to my daughter in December - my first child. This episode hits so much harder for me now

Mama Browsss

Just because someone is a drug addict doesn’t make them evil Ron, the show literally shows that through Jesse’s character. Everyone has the ability to change

Cyrus

She was someone’s daughter going through it in the worst way possible… the same way Walt tried to help Jesse, he could’ve easily placed her right back where he found her. I refuse to believe y’all are this heartless 💀

Icchi

Ik this isn’t the point you’re making but to piggyback off of it, it’s so funny to see the outrage towards Skylar, when her husband is off doing all this crazy shit. 😂 I get it, and ik just how common it is to hate her, but in a real world setting, if people knew what she was going through, all the lying and emotional unavailability, people would be telling her they need marriage counseling, or to divorce or something.

Chrissy

I do think Walt cares for Jesse in a weird way. He could have cut him loose before all this and if he didn’t care at all, he’d give him his money and just let him inevitably overdose. It would even been beneficial. Walt hasn’t navigated everything perfect by any means, but Jesse does fuck up quite a bit and causes him major head aches. If there was absolutely no care, at this point he’d just let him go. Him going back to his house to try and speak with him shows he cares. Even how he sits there looking frustrated and disappointed. I think even in some fucked up way, letting Jane die was him “caring”. With her gone she couldn’t drag him down anymore, which I’m sure is how he sees it.

Chrissy

What an episode, but at least we get Mike after this!

Vlad Skiy

Damn 10 likes ppl really agreeing about drug addicts that change bs

Ron Jackson Jr

I seen it already just wanted a reply from u daddy

Ron Jackson Jr

Gluttony and greed go hand-in-hand, to where gluttony can mean overindulging in general, which we've seen him do in several aspects. You could also just use the time he got drunk at the party and made his son drink too much lmao.

TheSauceGuy

I’m so sorry for Jane’s dad. She was hero’s only child 🙈

Vlad Lena

Walt is Combo??

Conk

combo

Thane Clark

Great point

Cannon Andrus

Right

Cannon Andrus

Crazy cause me neither!!

Cannon Andrus

Insanely good actors

Jessica

The only good thing about Jane is her being hot!!! and dead!!!!

Conk

WHEN WALT ROLLS BABY ON HER SIDE FOR THE THROW UP, ITS A PARALLEL FOR JESSES JUNKIE GIRLFRIEND. This is my sixth time watching and never realized

Conk

Where does Gluttony come into play?

Conk

The classic paradox

Fatipapi

Jane’s death is tragic but you really have to blame all 3 of them for it, it’s not even mostly Walt’s fault. Walt could have saved her but didn’t because of the position he was put in by the situation and how her death benefits him. She was a massive loose end. It’s partially Jane’s own fault because she started Jesse on this heroin phase and turned into a fiend when she learned about the money. It’s partially Jesse’s fault for getting Jane back into drugs and being a junky himself and telling Jane way too much about Walt’s personal info in the first place. I personally put the majority of the blame on Jesse because he should have NEVER told someone about Walt’s business. If Walt was a more dangerous person he might have legit gotten her killed himself. Jane knowing that put her in danger, esp since they’re starting to work with Gus and he def wouldn’t have taken this situation lightly.

rayman

Jesse was a drug addict before Jane, so idk what the “heroin influence” is supposed to mean, he could easily start perma smoking meth to cope like we’ve seen him do already. Any bit of genuine care Walt has for Jesse has been far outweighed by the bad things he has caused or done to Jesse. Main point was that morally Walt is far and away the worst person here (even if some of the things he does is a “smart business decision”) and a majority of the conversation has been formed as if Jane is some evil rat and Walt’s just a decent guy looking out for his friend, when it’s a lot closer to the opposite.

Frosty

fr Walt actually cares about Jesse. he also needs him to be clean for the business to continue, both are true. Walt letting Jane die is terrible but also a way to fix a problem for Walt. A loose end that he would ALWAYS have to worry about is gone, and the heroin influence on Jesse is gone, which would (to Jesse) prove Walt right forcing him to get clean while giving him immense guilt. While his conscience is visibly bothered, he didn’t actually kill her himself, he just didn’t save her. He let her die from her own actions for his benefit. You could argue maybe if he never went there she wouldn’t have been on her back and died, or maybe she would have anyway

rayman

I agree Frosty, I think Jane is protective of Jesse. Kinda surprised by the overall hate thrown at her in the comments (and the reaction).

mk

what a crazy thing to say

mk

I don’t understand this vulture narrative, yeah she is excited that they can go change their lives with a life changing amount of money, why tf wouldn’t she be? It looks pretty clear that she likes Jesse and cares about him EVEN AFTER her relapse. Was it fucked when she acted like she didn’t know him in front of her dad the first time? Yeah it was but it’s pretty understandable given the circumstances and the way her dad would’ve reacted, she was right, it saved Jesse from a lot of trouble with him when she did that. Other than that, what else has been shown other than her caring for and about him? Why are people acting like she only sees dollar signs when she looks at him. Even after they got the money the first thing she says is they both need to get clean right away so they can really change their lives and not just their location.

Frosty

While Walt wanting Jesse clean in order to use him for the meth business is true, let’s not act like Jesse wouldn’t have ended up wasting all his money on drugs with a high chance of dying. Walt’s ego comes first, but he does care about Jesse.

MaraReaper

Walt is the embodiment of all seven deadly sins combined.

TheSauceGuy

It took me a second to realize what you were whispering to Brig about, Cannon. I never thought about that scene like that!

TheSauceGuy

I liked the laundry joke, Jack.

Thicc Thanos

yeah in this particular situation, it was the best thing for Walt & Jesse as dealers. it sucks for real

Ron Jackson Jr

she from the streets Riley nothing we can do

Ron Jackson Jr

Damn poor Jane's dad he gonna blame Jesse for her death

Ron Jackson Jr

damn

Ron Jackson Jr

Facts, I root for Walt a lot of the time too so I get it, he is the main character, but you gotta call a spade a spade

Frosty

not true at all. and also very shitty thing to say.

Riley

you basically realize walt is in the wrong at every single moment of the show. there really isn’t any way to defend him tbh

Riley

surprised for most the ep they act like walt is in the right and a good guy, like obviously being a drug addict is far from good but that is jesse's money and walt trying to pretend he only cares about him as a person and thats why he wont give it to him... what Gus said to him really hit him, he needs Jesse clean so he can use him exactly how he wants... also jane is by far the least morally reprehensible person of the 3

Frosty

I forgot Walt did this, he’s literally a demon 💀 Jane ain’t deserve that

Icchi

This episode makes me sick and angry every time. The parallel with Walt's baby and Jane gosh. Idc about whether or not you liked Jane. Or if she was a liability. This Is a turning point for Walt. Jane was someone's baby too! Walt literally met her dad, a man who loved his daughter just as much as Walt loves Junior and Holly. But it always comes back to Walt being selfish and losing his humanity every step in this journey. This show is so incredibly written gotta love how they build up Walt's story and the stories of the side characters as well.

Tiga

nice shirt Jack!

A_Daddy Daichi

What a heart wrenching episode

JulioLG

I mean, she cared about Jesse before she started using again, and she even asked him to go to the meetings with him. I think when she's using, yeah she's a "vulture", but her sober is a completely different person. Walt does care about jesse in a twisted way but also the first thing he says to gus when referring to why he needs jesse is "because he does what I say." Lets say walt isn't so greedy and tries to be so aggressive with expanding his territory, maybe combo doesn't die and jesse doesn't use drugs to cope and trigger jane to relapse.

kringlekrisp

They hate what they create

Kite

🩷

Bradlynn Andrus

They got drug addiction jane 100% correct. Drug addicts don't care about you no matter how close you are to them they are not worth it and the best thing to do is throw them to the curb.

Vanesa

me if i was stupid

leah

Something i just realised, its really interesting to see the duality of Walts disgust of the ‘junkie lifestyle’, when he’s a major contributor to it with his meth for other people he does not directly see. Theyre the entire reason hes making cash

Fatipapi

Omg I didn't notice on my first watch that Jane got pushed by Walt.. so tragic

ahmad

Right? Fucked as it is, it was the perfect way for him to get rid of a major loose canon/liability and get Jesse to see the light (pun intended) and get cleaned up and back in business all without having to resort to any violence himself.

Fatipapi

This is a turning point for walter's character.

yeah jane had to go lmao

What an episode. Amazing plot but putting that aside, I was blown away by the performances from Walt and Jesse. Walt especially. The nuance, the silences, the subtlety. A good plot tickles my brain and a stunning performance moves my heart. I had to check and yes, Bryan Cranston won an Emmy Award for his performance in this episode. Beautiful work.

Dónde está la biblioteca

Yooooo I totally forgot Walt met Jane’s dad…wild

Nivek

Any smart person would of let Jane die in Walt’s position 🤣🤣 don’t do drugs kids !

MateoP

Walt would've definitely rolled Walt Jr on his side if he was overdosing on breakfast.

James Moss

Thanks Geks+! It's crazy how addict change when they're sober vs using.

jrnoodles

Adding onto my comment from last vid: Jane turning into a total vulture the second money was mentioned just showed her true colours. She doesn’t give a fuck about Jesse. He was just her plug and now her ATM too. She was BAD news. At least Walt deep down cares for him and wants better for him. He includes him into the money making when he could’ve easily ditched him to go solo with Gus, but still he vouched for him. Anyways, fuck Jane, im happy shes gone. I do feel horribly sad for her dad.. he seemed like such a sweet guy who was at his wits end with her. Hes totally gonna blame himself for giving her that one extra day. Im glad McKay mentioned that teddy bear. Can’t wait for yall to see how it all ties together lol

Fatipapi

17:12: The way McKay looked at the camera is sending me lmaoo
