2025-03-17 16:25:08 +0000 UTCThe show's power scaling is all over the place. Why would Mark hold back when he's on the brink of death and his teammates are being killed? In Season 1, he stopped a meteor, but now he struggles to one-shot a street-tier villain. The same issue applies to the ReAnimen. They seemed much stronger in Season 1—Omni-Man himself had trouble with them, even older versions of them. Even though Mark has gotten stronger, he's still weaker than Omni-Man, yet the Guardians were able to take out some ReAnimen relatively easily. Since when were they stronger than Omni-Man? Makes no sense.

However, the animation doesn't bother me like it does others, but I can some of the complaints. I'm more bothered by certain character/pacing elements, but that's about it. As for episode 5, I imagine it's setting the stage for future events.
