I agree with Riley. I don't think there was a breach. I think the titans inside the wall were recently turned from Connie's village. It was desolate and they found no bodies except for the titan that is more than likely his mom. I just want to know what they are trying to accomplish. Right now it seems like they want to wipe out humanity, but then they are also turning people too. I hope we do get answers at some point. I'm excited to watch the next three!

S2 style of storytelling combined with elements of mystery, horror, and emotion make it stick out to me from other seasons. Maybe the fact that it’s only 12 episodes adds to that.

2025-03-11 15:38:43 +0000 UTCaot is a dark show, but i can't be the only one who finds season 2 the eeriest season yet. i think what cannon pointed out adds to this because he's right, the fact that even the characters have no clue what's happening makes everything that much crazier. the scene with that smaller titan munching away on that lady as her daughter watches in horror will forever be one of the most horrific scenes of the show for me. the fact that you can tell she's lost her voice from screaming so much and that she's so unbelievably exhausted from the pain...ISAYAMA YOU PSYCHO! season two has so many painful and downright horrific scenes, miche's death still haunts me!

I could be reading too far into it but if it really is hinting at Reiner’s inner self trying to remind himself why he’s there then that’s just genius writing.

He’ll be able to smell all those people lying in the bushes (that would later transform into titans), and the presence of Zeke, Pieck, etc. In episode one, he is able to smell the titans that are hundred of meters away, locating the direction. Sasha’s ears are also insane, but they’ll be useless if people stay still. You’re either nerfed (like Levi) or killed when you’re too OP. The gory death also establishes the aura of the beast titan.

I liked season 1, but it was after season 2 when I finally caved in and began reading the manga as I couldn't wait for season 3!! Personally, I love mysteries, and it is amazing how season 2 enhances the mystery aspect of the show along with the usual suspense, action and thrill.

Bradlynn catching that little detail was awesome too, the move she used in the past fighting for her selfish ideals, was now used to take out that kid and herself from the forest, and his dads response to that being “Sasha… you’re all I hoped for” are u kidding me… that’s the most beautiful way to express how proud you are of someone. gotta log out cause I’m getting cheesy and sht🪂 lmao I love seeing the girls so excited in the discussions, they’re not ready for what’s coming😭 can’t wait for friday!!
