The only thing I didn't like about Skylar on my first watch was her reaction to finding out. But I identify with doing whatever it takes to take care of your family. Not that I would cook meth 😂 but the sentiment. But even then, on the second watch it didn't bother me as much. It's wild how disliked she is for being......right. I think it says more about the people that hate her if you know what I mean.

His first week in the life he killed 2 people lol. Family’s are often collateral in these situations as well. What he’s doing is extremely dangerous. It really shouldn’t be downplayed imo. I love his character 100% but he’s a pos lol 😅 Ik it’s up for interpretation but I really don’t think it’s some subconscious thing to get back at Walt. She’s probably a previous smoker and addiction is real. A lot of people smoke because of stress. She’s being lied to every single day by her husband. She’s having an unexpected baby at a later age, her husband has cancer and they are struggling financially. I think that’s enough stressors to get someone to be stupid and smoke, if that’s something they’ve done before. It’s absolutely dangerous and not ok, but to downplay the danger they are in every day because of walts actions is a bit naive imo. And his decision to do this I will never think is noble. He’s prideful as fuck. If it was just about his family he would have swallowed his pride and accepted the money and job from Elliot and Gretchen.

And she obviously went to smoking because she under extreme stress. But as far as the discussion at the end like saying what she did was more dangerous to the baby than what Walt does. This is not strictly true. Tuco literally knew where they lived for example and he was crazy. He invited that danger into their lives by his choices. At best he can be arrested and she’s a single broke mother at 40 and at worst they can be legit murdered. Walt is putting every single one of them at risk every single day.
