I just definitely remember on some older post (dont remember when/which), there was a discussion about exactly this, either an extra drop, or an earlier one or something, and i believe either cannon or carter commented something along the lines of “we try to do extra stuff but its feels like its never enough” (dont quote me on it), hence my comment on this topic. Im glad u didnt take my comment as an attack/got offended. Its hard to try to get a certain tone or intentions across in comments sometimes 😅 and some ppl just love to get offended haha

We wouldn’t even be discussing this if Brig ( the legend himself ) hadn’t gotten our hopes up. It’s not like those two episodes are insignificant or unrelated to this batch—they’re actually some of the most anticipated episodes for fans of the show. Also, I haven’t seen anyone being ungrateful when they released more episodes, at least not in the Naruto batches. Of course, if this decision would create unnecessary work for Carter due to editing, then they don’t need to do it. Whatever they decide will be appreciated. PS. Itachi is my favourite so I'm a little bit biased but ever since they started Naruto I've been looking forward to exactly those episodes 😭

This fight sequence isn’t anything extraordinary so it’s not surprising that the geks weren’t at the absolute edge of there seats. It’s the next couple of episodes that tie up this saga really well anyway. I think there is plenty of content left in the show that will excite them.

Even in the stretches when Shippuden moves at a better pace, I can see how it could burn you out compared to newer series. Especially when they're being watched concurrently. It is much easier to take the existing anime and put it up. If they just edited out the recap it could mess up the flow and I also don’t know how easy it is to edit animation. He is one of my favourite characters in all of anime so please stop assuming that I don't understand him. 2025-03-01 11:26:04 +0000 UTCwatched the second half of shipudden in sub my first watch through so I got a taste of both worlds & was indifferent about either one but on this rewatch I really think dub is the superior option for watching Naruto . these episodes are still great & the voice acting in Japanese is fine but some of these moments dont hit as hard when you put them against there dub counterparts - the word choice & phrases in sub can be so dull at times - whatever Japanese intern was writing the script might have been just trying to clock out early

He could have whipped out Susano'o and low diffed him but he had to make it look believable. Itachi is low/medium Hokage level; he took Orochimaru out with ease.
