Everyone leaning forward on the couch shouting at the screen, this is what it’s all about 🫶 Mob is truly one of the greatest shows ever, full of so much heart and truly fantastic life lessons. The fight in this episode is just elite, I’m soooo happy you guys finally got around to seeing it and love it as much as well all do!

2025-02-26 10:02:49 +0000 UTCI think the reason why Mob looks different in the spirit world is because how he visualizes himself affects his appearance (at least that is what Mogami said when Shigeo entered the girl's body). So when Dimple tells Mob how his Tsubomi-chan will be so disappointed, he views himself as a muscular guy (with a flower on his head), the very reason he joined the Body Improvement Club to look cool to her. Also, that is why his eyes and animation style change when he reaches 100% of courage, he views himself in a positive light in that world at that moment.

I also like how even though reigan and dimple are super opportunistic, because of mob’s naiveness, or compassion really, it has really brought out the best in both of them to use those opportunistic tendencies for good. he helped them change. mob the goat man

2025-02-26 08:14:59 +0000 UTCI really liked the messaging in this episode, which is also one of the main overall themes of the series, that it’s never too late to change, and that there are people out there who are willing to help you. They really nail how important it is to have those people around and how crucial having a support system is, especially during your formative years, like we see here with Mob. He says that he is blessed and grateful for those who have helped him change and become a stronger, kinder, and better person. Because if he can change, then everyone can. And without them, who knows what type of person he would've been. But it goes both ways, Mob is also helping/helped those around him change as well, like Reigen, his brother, Hanazawa, some of the Claw members, the daughter, and even Dimple, among many others. Overall, just an amazing set of episodes. Every episode tackles different but connected issues and does so greatly and with incredible animation.

I can never think of a crazier fight / mini arc in any other anime done in just like 2 episodes and so ridiculously amazing both with an insane fight and a beautiful message.
